MISSION

We are the RISK Quant Force (RQF), a transversal team of more than 20 quantitative experts supporting BNP Paribas’ risk management. Based in Madrid, Bourdeaux and Warsaw, the team is composed of quantitative experts and data scientists which contribute to the quantitative activity of the BNP Paribas Group Risk management teams.
MISSION
As a Credit quantitative analyst you will contribute to modeling, simulations, calibration or performance analysis of models (probability of default, loss given default, forward-looking,…) for the BNP Paribas Group RISK quantitative teams. Your work will support regulatory dialogues, quantify supervisory impacts and provide training for system users.

What is the Global Banking EMEA Graduate Program?
The Global Banking EMEA Graduate Program is designed to boost your professional development. Responsibilities
What will your first 12 months look like?
You will be part of a community of c.40 talented graduates recruited in 7 countries and sponsored by a senior member of the Global Banking EMEA Management team.
During the first 6 months, you will join one of the Investment Bank’s teams based in Paris, either at European Advisory Group (EAG) either at Capital Markets.
European Advisory Group (EAG): joining the EAG will offer you the opportunity to be involved on a large variety of M&A transactions (buy or sell-side, public or private). During your mission, you will be involved on every step of the entire M&A process from marketing through to execution and be responsible for providing support in the preparation of all materials required for clients’ pitching and deals’ execution.
At Capital Markets, you will be offered the opportunity to join one of the following teams:
- Equity Capital Markets – Join the leading European Equity Capital Markets franchise. Equity Capital Markets advise clients with regards to accessing the equity capital markets, covering raising new capital by corporates whether by way of initial public offering, rights issue or accelerated transactions, including equity and equity-linked instruments.
- Debt Markets – Debt Markets EMEA’s mission is to serve the bank’s corporate and private equity clients, by originating, structuring and executing all DCM and syndicated loan transactions (corporate facilities and event-driven transactions).
- Real Assets Group – the Real Assets group encompasses a wide range of specialized coverage, specialised financing and debt advisory activities in the following sectors: energy, resources, infrastructure, real estate, aviation and shipping. - Assist in the preparation of presentations and pitches to support the marketing effort
- Perform background industry and company research, operational benchmarking analysis, valuation works, synthesising information from diverse source
- Perform financial and risk analysis to facilitate discussions with internal partners, develop financial models
- Support the marketing of transactions including development of strategy, timetable, target investors, collation and analysis of feedback
- Support syndicate interaction
- Assist in the preparation of credit documentation and manage the internal approval process

After 6 months in Paris, you will start your second assignment back in Spain and will discover a second activity of the investment bank.

The European Advisory Group is a team of c. 170 advisory junior bankers (from Analysts to Vice Presidents) supporting the senior Bankers from both M&A EMEA and Industry Groups and dedicated to the origination and execution of M&A transactions for the account of BNP Paribas clients. The team has geographic offices based in Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, the UK, Dubai, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Portugal.
Capital Markets is BNP Paribas’ capital markets business within the Corporate & Institutional Bank (CIB). The Primary Task Of The Due Diligence Team Leader Is To Define Team Structure And Allocate Resources According To The Daily Activity Of The Team. This Includes Amongst Others

About The Job
MISSION
We are currently looking for a Junior Procurement Backoffice Officer (JPO) to join our team in the Finance and Procurement Shared Services Center (SSC) located in Madrid.
The functions performed by the SSC, for which the JPO will be responsible, include the Risk Management Supplier Processes, the centralization of the “Know Your Supplier” controls and the daily management of the back office tools and processes for Purchase Orders processes. This role will imply revision, analysis, production and monitoring of procurement KPIs and reporting to be submitted to BNP Paribas and the different Nickel Entities for which the SSC renders Procurement services.
The JPO will engage with overseas staff as will work closely with the central Procurement team (located in France) and the local Office Manager (located in the different Nickel Branches: Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Germany), providing support and distance training when necessary.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate knowledge of Procurement procedures and systems.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also have outstanding analytical and time management abilities
Responsibilities
JPO must ensure smooth and timely completion of assigned tasks which include:
- Suppliers Onboarding
- Preliminary process of assessment of suppliers (RIMES and KYS)
- Supplier Creation and Modification in our ERP Oracle
- Ensuring the screening and scoring of each new supplier
- Perform Generic Due Diligences when eligible
- Maintenance of Supplier referential
- Administration
- Manage ERP authorizations under perimeter
- Training new Purchase request users
- Catalog creation in our ERP Oracle
- Write and update procedures related to all process dedicated to its scope activity
- Collaborate closely with the business to ensure a smooth procurement process in relation to Purchase Orders and Purchase Requests

- Perform periodic analysis and report to detect and resolve problems
- Produce monthly KPI reports.
