Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies to drive business growth, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen customer engagement within the Spain and Portugal for Motion High Power business. This role serves as strategic partner to the local sales organization while ensuring alignment with global marketing & communications strategies and divisional objectives.

This role is contributing to the ABB Motion High Power division in Spain and Portugal.

Work Model

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Developing and executing country-level marketing and communication strategies aligned with business priorities and ABB brand guidelines.
• Managing budgets, track costs, and oversee suppliers to ensure compliance and operational quality.
• Leading audience analysis, defining personas, and optimizing communication channels based on target‑group preferences.
• Implementing key initiatives such as product launches, campaigns, events, lead generation, and internal communications, adapting global content for local impact.
• Driving customer engagement initiatives and ensure consistent, data‑driven performance reporting and market insights.
• Aligning and advising stakeholders across Spain and Portugal, collaborating with cross‑divisional teams and representing both countries in regional and global forums.

Qualifications For The Role

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines.
• Proven expertise in technical B2B/industrial marketing and communications.
• Hands-on execution ability combined with a strategic mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with both local and global leaders.
• Experience in brand management, demand generation, digital channels, and media relations.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and partners to achieve cost-efficient agreements while safeguarding quality and service level.
• Analytical skills to measure performance and optimize activities.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus
