Job Description

Reporting to the Accountant Manager, the Junior Accountant will:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update accounts payable and accounts receivables and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare bank and petty cash reconciliations, monitor daily bank positions, prepare payments.
• Support the rest of the accounting team in any specific project that would arise within the Accounting / Finance function.

• Review and prepare if needed fixed assets register(s)
• Assist in producing error-free accounting reports
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Support the rest of the Accounting team in any specific project that would arise within the Accounting / Finance function
  
  

Qualifications

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Having previously worked with Sales Force will be a plus.
• Basic knowledge of accounting procedures.
  
  

Soft Skills

• Accurate and reliable.
• Hard working.
• Willing to learn.
• Committed.
  
  

Language Skills

• Spanish: Level C2/C1
• English: fluent both written and spoken.
• Any other language will be a plus.
