Your New Role

The Content Specialist role is designed to support content strategy, foster creativity, and collaborate with team members to achieve outstanding content performance.

Reporting to the Content Team Lead, the Content Specialist will support the workflow of content production from planning and execution to quality assurance. This role combines strategic oversight with a creative approach to content marketing, while ensuring exceptional quality across all outputs.

What You'll Be Working On

Quality Assurance (QA) and Content Editing

  • Conduct detailed QA reviews ensuring:
  • Accuracy in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Consistency with brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Proper integration of SEO best practices (meta tags, headings,

keyword usage).

  • Functionality and correctness of links, multimedia, and formatting.
  • Collaborate creatively with editors to enhance content quality.
  • Develop and update QA checklists tailored to various content formats.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflow automations to streamline QA processes and boost efficiency.

Content Strategy And Creative Collaboration

  • Lead strategic planning sessions to develop engaging content strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Drive innovative content ideation, ensuring fresh, creative approaches that boost audience engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to co-develop high-impact campaigns.
  • Mentor writers, nurturing creative development and encouraging professional growth.
  • Contribute to the smooth execution of a content calendar in collaboration with the Content Project Manager.
  • Support the Content Project Manager in achieving quarterly content goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Team Collaboration And Support

  • Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback during content reviews to elevate content quality.
  • Coordinate an assigned group of freelancers effectively, ensuring timely delivery of content.
  • Maintain an open communication with SEO, Product, SoMe, and CRM teams to ensure content meets cross-departmental needs.
  • Partner with SEO specialists to seamlessly integrate optimization tactics into creative workflows.
  • Assist content creators by resolving issues, offering guidance, and facilitating smooth task execution.
  • Develop and manage team resources and documentation to enhance efficiency and creative output.
  • Continuously explore content marketing trends and best practices, proactively introducing innovations.

What You Will Be Bringing To Your New Role

  • Editorial Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency and quality across all content.
  • AI & Automation Familiarity: Comfortable using AI tools and workflow automations to improve personal performance, streamline content processes, and support team productivity
  • Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work with freelancers, internal teams, and the Content Project Manager.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO basics, content management systems (CMS), and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira).
  • Proactive Approach: A problem-solver who can take initiative and work independently when required.
