• Design and implement data architecture solutions that align with business requirements and support data management and analytics objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, data analysts, and IT teams, to understand data needs and develop data models and database designs.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by establishing and enforcing data governance and quality standards.
• Develop data integration and ETL strategies to ensure seamless data flow across systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with the IT team to select and implement appropriate data management and analytics tools and technologies.
• Define and maintain data standards, best practices, and guidelines for data modeling, database design, and data integration.
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data architecture and recommend improvements and innovations to enhance the organization´s data management capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the data lifecycle.

• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in data architecture or related areas are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data management, preferably in the insurance industry and 2 years as data architect
• Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, practices, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques (Experience in Data Vault is a plus)
• Experience with database management systems, including relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Azure is highly desirable
• Familiarity with data integration tools, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Highly desirable experience in Azure Synapse Analytics
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to design and optimize complex data solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of insurance industry data models and processes is desirable.
