Responsibilities

  • Admissions

Develop and implement an effective admissions strategy, supported by relevant policies and procedures.

Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families, guiding them through the admissions process and aiming for high conversion from enquiry to enrolment.

Organize and lead school tours, open days, and orientation events.

Maintain accurate admissions data using Veracross and provide regular reports to the HOS.

Collaborate with academic staff and families to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new families.

  • Marketing & Communications

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and PR strategy to promote RWIS both locally and internationally.

Manage the school's digital presence, including website updates, social media, and digital advertising campaigns.

Act as the brand guardian to ensure materials align with RWIS's ethos, brandbook and communications policy.

Oversee creation and review of promotional content such as newsletters, prospectuses, and event materials.

Engage with local and international media, business, NGO and diplomatic communities to position RWIS as a leading school of choice.

  • Event Management & Community Engagement

Plan and execute events that foster community spirit and promote RWIS to prospective families and partners.

Oversee the activities of the PTA and act as a liaison between parents and the school.

Organize fundraising and events with the Business and Operations Manager to advance the RWIS mission.

  • Strategic Development

Work with the Senior Leadership Team to align with the school's broader strategic objectives.

Provide strategic insights on market trends and opportunities to advance RWIS's mission and vision.

Submit regular reports and proposals for SLT and Board approval.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Growth in student admissions aligned with annual targets.

Measurable increases in digital engagement (website traffic, social media reach).

Positive feedback on admissions process and school communications.

Successful execution of community events and marketing campaigns.

Strengthened relationships with community stakeholders and partnerships.

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.

Proven experience in admissions, marketing, or community relations, ideally in an international school.

Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media.

Experience managing events and community engagement initiatives.

Experience as an international school educator is an advantage.

Skills And Attributes

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across media.

Strategic thinker with a creative problem-solving approach.

Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with marketing and AI tools is desirable.

Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, German, Swedish) are assets.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
