Job description:


SBS is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our Market Development and Growth team in Madrid. On this role you will be responsible for developing business across the EMEA market focusing on our Retail Banking products (core banking, payments, loans, etc.).


Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals with new clients.
  • Consultative Selling: Build strong relationships with senior executives and position high-impact solutions.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain a robust pipeline and deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts.
  • Collaboration & Proposals: Work with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and lead bid/proposal efforts.
  • Contract Negotiation: Manage contract discussions with legal, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Brand Advocacy: Represent the SBS brand with professionalism and pride.


Job requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in tech solutions (preferably software), with knowledge of FSI and retail banking.
  • Proven track record in closing deals and strong new business drive.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
