Our team of language professionals, editors and strategists works together to create meaningful stories, especially when those stories involve complex topics and specialized audiences.
About the project
We provide community management support for a leading app dedicated to fighting food waste across several key markets. We’re seeking a native-level Norwegian speaker based in Norway to manage community engagement for our client’s social media presence in the Norwegian market. This role involves managing the brand’s Instagram and Facebook accounts, including posting content and actively engaging with a highly engaged community.
Main responsibilities
Scheduling monthly posts on Instagram and Facebook
Localizing content from English into Norwegian when needed
Posting content (no creation required)
Regular community interaction and timely responses
Creating daily stories to boost engagement
Flagging complaints, questions or issues to the client
Testing new ideas to grow engagement and position the brand as a leading voice against food waste in Norway
Reviewing content before posting and suggesting improvements
Staying in close, daily contact with the client and VeraContent team
Sharing insights and feedback from the community
Requirements
Native-level Norwegian and excellent writing skills; and high level of English
Localization skills (ensuring content resonates with the local audience)
Experience in community management and social media best practices
Ability to bring fresh, trend-based ideas
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Meta)
Strong time management and responsiveness via Slack
