Responsibilities

- Design SAP HANA native models like Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript to handle backend data processes and aggregations
- Develop and maintain efficient ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from SAP and non-SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party sources
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft scalable data flows and architectures that support analytics and operational reporting
- Create end-to-end data workflows, ensuring data consistency and resolving discrepancies through monitoring and troubleshooting
- Work closely with frontend teams to enable real-time insights and interactive dashboards via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and similar tools
- Provide support for business processes by developing custom analytics, KPI dashboards, and actionable insights powered by SAP HANA
- Optimize performance for large datasets and complex workflows, leveraging SAP HANA´s in-memory database features
- Contribute to cross-functional projects by coordinating with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to deliver tailored solutions
- Engage in Agile (SAFe) workflows, including sprints, planning, and retrospectives to deliver incremental value
- Document technical best practices, workflows, and key processes while fostering knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

- Expertise in SAP HANA native modeling, with strong hands-on experience in Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
- Background in designing and managing ETL workflows and data pipelines, with a focus on SAP environments
- Familiarity with integrating SAP systems like SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or legacy systems into data processes
- Skills in data performance optimization, database tuning, and ensuring scalability for large datasets
- Understanding of SAP BW processes, including InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, and data transformation workflows
- Knowledge of data architecture principles and hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools
- Proficiency in Agile practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent SAP-focused roles
- Competency in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communicating within collaborative team settings

Nice to have

- Background in manufacturing or engineering sectors, particularly in quality assurance or supply chain analytics
- Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or similar modern SAP tools
- Familiarity with advanced visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI alongside SAC
