👉 We're Hiring: Data Visualization Trainee

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Visualization Intern with a keen interest in data analysis and user experience design. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn how to design intuitive and visually engaging dashboards using tools like Power BI. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals to support business intelligence initiatives and improve user experience. No prior experience is required—just a passion for data, design, and a willingness to learn.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in designing and developing user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Support cross-functional teams by helping translate business needs into visual data solutions.

• Participate in user research and usability testing to gather feedback and suggest improvements.

• Help validate data accuracy and perform basic quality checks.

• Learn how to provide support and training to users on interacting with BI tools.

• Explore opportunities to enhance reporting and user experience through design and feedback. Networking/Key relationships

• Internal: Collaborate with teams such as IT, marketing, finance, and customer service to understand requirements and contribute to design efforts.

• External: May occasionally observe interactions with external vendors or consultants for exposure to tool integration and design practices.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

• Currently pursuing a degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of UX principles and data visualization concepts.

• Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.

• Strong interest in learning how design impacts data interpretation and business decisions.

• Good analytical thinking and communication skills.

• Must be able to sign a learning agreement with the university/school for a period of 6 months.

Skills & Capabilities:

Technical Skills:

o Exposure to Power BI or similar tools for data visualization.

o Interest in design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.

o Willingness to learn about data modeling and databases.

Design Skills:

o Enthusiasm for creating user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards.
