We are looking for technical Engineering Managers to lead teams focused on Big Data and MySQL databases. We write code in Python and encode modern operational practices for data applications at scale on Kubernetes and cloud machines.
Location: This role can be filled in European, Middle East, African or any American region / time zone.
What your day will look like
- You will lead a team building scalable data solutions for Kubernetes and cloud machines
- You will hire, coach, mentor, provide feedback, and lead your team by example
- You will demonstrate sound engineering skill by directly contributing code when needed
- Effectively set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused IoT Service Delivery Manager to manage and grow relationships with 1GLOBAL's IoT customers. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional end-to-end customer experience across our telecom services, from onboarding through to ongoing service delivery and support.
As an IoT SDM, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Technical Support, and Product, to ensure customers derive maximum value from our solutions. You will also drive service performance reviews, lead service improvement initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to your IoT accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall customer relationship and experience across 1GLOBAL services for assigned IoT and eSIM B2B2C accounts
- Lead smooth and professional onboarding processes, ensuring customers are set up for long-term success
- Manage ongoing service delivery, acting as the key point of contact for service-related queries and escalations
- Coordinate with internal teams (Support, Network Operations, Sales, Product) to resolve issues and improve customer outcomes
- Conduct regular Service Reviews and performance reporting, identifying and executing Service Improvement Plans as needed
- Build strong, long-term relationships that drive retention, growth, and advocacy
- Monitor usage trends and customer health metrics to identify risks and opportunities for expansion
- Champion the voice of the customer internally to influence product and process improvements
- Experience in a customer-facing role within the telecommunications industry (Mobile, IoT, M2M, eSIM solutions)

Como SRE, te incorporarás a un equipo de Desarrollo Software especializado, entre otras muchas cosas, en el desarrollo de apps móviles (ya sean nativas, híbridas o bajo frameworks multiplataforma), grandes servicios de integración y backends, ya sean On Premise u On Cloud (bajo tecnología AWS, Azure o Google), aplicaciones web de gran envergadura, etc.
¿QUÉ HARÁS EN TU DÍA A DÍA?
- SRE & Observabilidad: definir e implantar SLIs/SLOs y presupuestos de error, estandarizar la instrumentación (métricas, logs y trazas), crear dashboards y alertas efectivos y reducir MTTR/MTTD con buenas prácticas y runbooks.
- Integración de sistemas: colaborar en integraciones entre backend, web y mobile, servicios de terceros y entornos event-driven (pub/sub, MQTT u otros).
- Backend para IoT: participar en el diseño y desarrollo de APIs y microservicios orientados a dispositivos, telemetría y procesamiento de eventos.
- Calidad y seguridad: trabajar junto a QA en testing automatizado (contratos, integración, performance) y aplicar controles de seguridad en pipelines e infraestructura.
- Liderazgo técnico: acompañar a los equipos en decisiones de arquitectura, revisiones de código, buenas prácticas y mentorización para elevar el nivel de ingeniería.
¿QUÉ ESPERAMOS DE TI?
- Ingeniería de Software o Ciclo grado superior en desarrollo de aplicaciones.
- Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia en análisis funcional, preferiblemente en proyectos de desarrollo de software.
- Experiencia en arquitecturas event-driven (pub/sub) y MQTT y conocimientos en RabbitMQ/Kafka/NATS.
- Manejo de OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana y/o ELK/Loki/Jaeger/Tempo.
- Habilidad para comunicarse de manera efectiva con equipos técnicos y no técnicos.
- Capacidad para gestionar múltiples proyectos y prioridades en un entorno dinámico.
- Inglés B2 deseable.

We are hiring a Design Manager to lead and contribute to our Visual Design practice supporting brand and site experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to experienced designers who excel in people management, delivery ownership and strategic thinking.
The role entails
Your work will entail the application and evolution of existing guidelines, ensuring consistency across touchpoints. You will lead a variety of projects ranging from marketing campaign assets, data visualization, print and UI design related projects. You will be collaborating closely with the design systems and the sites team, influencing the UI of all our digital experiences. You will have opportunities to get involved in various stretch projects that go beyond the scope of brand design, allowing you to drive cross-department collaboration.
As Design Manager, you will lead a team of visual designers responsible for brand and site-related work across Canonical. You will drive innovation, set direction, maintain quality, and ensure delivery supporting continuous professional growth of the visual design team. You will be able to step-in and craft exceptional visual solutions to set the creative vision. You will be expected to lead by example, not by theory alone.
