The role entails
Your work will entail the application and evolution of existing guidelines, ensuring consistency across touchpoints. You will lead a variety of projects ranging from marketing campaign assets, data visualization, print and UI design related projects. You will be collaborating closely with the design systems and the sites team, influencing the UI of all our digital experiences. You will have opportunities to get involved in various stretch projects that go beyond the scope of brand design, allowing you to drive cross-department collaboration.
As Design Manager, you will lead a team of visual designers responsible for brand and site-related work across Canonical. You will drive innovation, set direction, maintain quality, and ensure delivery supporting continuous professional growth of the visual design team. You will be able to step-in and craft exceptional visual solutions to set the creative vision. You will be expected to lead by example, not by theory alone.
On a day to day basis:
- Reviewing work critically and constructively, striving for excellence and consistency through direct feedback
- Contributing hands-on design work when capacity or complexity requires it
- Working with individual designers to support their professional growth
- Continuously overseeing and improving operational workflows, including production processes
- Working with stakeholders, especially Marketing, Web Engineering and Design Systems Director, to clearly define and validate outcomes
- Evolving design systems and guidelines to drive consistent quality and improve efficiency
- Coordinating with the rest of design leadership to mature our collective practice
- Bringing your team and others together to share their work and strengthen culture
- Helping make the value of design legible across the organisation and open source community
- A portfolio demonstrating excellence in leading design process and execution (especially visually) in diverse organisations
- Experience managing complex projects and a team of designers while remaining actively involved in design work
- Advanced knowledge of visual design principles (typography, layout, colour, systems) demonstrating broad experience
- Strong processes understanding and ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and limited resources with the ability to switch modes
- A clear point of view, balanced with openness to critique and feedback with deep care for usability and accessibility
- Commitment to skills development and mentorship
- A demonstrable passion for technology
- Thoughtful and self-motivated while being result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
- Exceptional educational achievement in design, or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
- Professional written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events up to two weeks long
Your base pay will depend on various factors including your geographical location, level of experience, knowledge and skills. En ECOMT buscamos incorporar a un Técnico/a de Automatización para integrarse en un equipo orientado a proyectos de automatización, telegestión y digitalización.
El puesto combina actividades en oficina (ingeniería, documentación, configuración y prueba de equipos, asistencia remota…) con intervenciones en campo (instalación, conexionado de cuadros de control, pruebas, ajustes y diagnósticos). Buscamos personas que presenten un perfil técnico, interesado por el IOT, programación y con ganas de aprender.
Funciones del Puesto:
- Programación y configuración de PLC, HMI, instrumentación, pasarelas de comunicación, etc…
- Pruebas de cuadros eléctricos.
- Gestión del material de proyecto.
- Elaborar y actualizar documentación técnica.
- Instalación, conexionado y puesta en marcha de cuadros de control.
- Replanteos previos a la implantación de un proyecto.

Requisitos mínimos
- Recomendable experiencia previa en algunas de las funciones del puesto.
- Formación técnica: Ingeniería, grado o ciclo en Automatización/Robótica Industrial, Electricidad-Electrónica o similar.

Tu día a día en Mapit...
Como Financial Controller, tendrás la responsabilidad de supervisar, coordinar y garantizar la integridad de las operaciones financieras de la organización. Serás el encargado de liderar los controles internos, la contabilidad y el cumplimiento normativo, contribuyendo a la toma de decisiones estratégicas a través del diseño de simuladores y modelos económicos, análisis financiero y la elaboración de informes. Tus principales funciones serán:
Gestión Financiera y Contable
- Liderar proceso contable de las filiales internacionales del grupo.
- Supervisar las operaciones financieras de las filiales internacionales incluyendo la contabilidad general, cuentas por pagar y cobrar, y la tesorería.
- Asegurar la exactitud y fiabilidad de los estados financieros, de acuerdo con las normativas contables aplicables.
- Coordinar la preparación y presentación de reportes financieros consolidados mensuales, trimestrales y anuales.
- Diseñar, implementar y supervisar controles internos para proteger los activos de la organización y garantizar la integridad de los procesos financieros.
- Velar por el cumplimiento de normativas fiscales, legales y de auditoría.
- Gestionar auditorías internas y externas, actuando como principal punto de contacto con auditores y organismos reguladores.
- Elaborar presupuestos anuales y pronósticos financieros, proporcionando análisis detallados sobre desviaciones y recomendaciones de mejora.
- Realizar análisis de costes y rentabilidad para identificar oportunidades de optimización financiera.
- Diseñar simuladores y modelos económicos orientados a la toma de decisiones.
- Apoyar en la evaluación financiera de proyectos de inversión y decisiones estratégicas.
- Formación: Titulación universitaria en Administración de Empresas, Empresariales, Economía o área afín. Se valorará master en Dirección Financiera y Contable.
- Amplios y profundos conocimientos de Contabilidad internacional (PGC, IFRS, IAS, GAAP).
- Experiencia como Controller Financiero, preferiblemente en PYMEs de alto crecimiento del sector tecnológico. Amplia experiencia en contabilidad internacional. Muy valorable experiencia en auditoría financiera.
- Nivel muy avanzado de Excel y dominio de software de gestión ERP (muy valorable Holded y Power BI)
- Excelentes habilidades analíticas, atención al detalle, buena capacidad de comunicación y enfoque a la resolución de problemas.

¿Qué buscamos de ti?
