Your Role: Front Desk, Front Line, First Impression

As a Reception Trainee, you’ll be the face of Grand Hyatt Barcelona. You’ll learn what it takes to deliver world-class service while gaining hands-on experience in the core operations of a luxury hotel front desk.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Deliver outstanding guest service by handling internal and external phone calls professionally, ensuring each interaction reflects our brand standards.
• Create meaningful first impressions, assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with confidence, warmth, and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with other departments and partners to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed and proactive, keeping up to date with daily hotel services, local events, and guest preferences to provide relevant and helpful information at any moment.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Full-Time Commitment: This is a paid internship, Monday to Friday. Please note that housing is not included.
• Our internship programs require 6-month availability in Barcelona starting in december.
• Educational Collaboration: You must be able to sign a collaboration agreement with your school or study center.
• Work Authorization: You need to have legal authorization to work in Spain or your University must be approved for Internships in the EU.
• Relevant Career Path: Your studies should be related to the internship.
• Language Skills: Advanced English is a must and Advanced Spanish is highly valued.
• Passion for Learning: We seek individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow.
