We are looking for a motivated candidate to join the

Biomedical Applications Group (GAB)

and pursue a PhD within the framework of the project

NEUROSKIN – "NEUROtechnology for high precision SKIN-conformable systems"

• The project aims to develop new technologies for the fabrication of ultra-conformable devices for high-density electromyography (EMG) recording and advanced study of motor units.
  
  

The research will focus on the design and microfabrication of high-density electrode arrays to achieve reliable and reproducible recordings.

The PhD Candidate Will Receive Multidisciplinary Training Covering

Technological aspects

: printed electronics, cleanroom microfabrication processes, materials, electrical and mechanical characterization

Biomedical aspects

: basic electrophysiology and biological signal processing

This training will enable functional validation of the fabricated devices through high-density EMG measurements, in close collaboration with neurophysiology experts.
