🚀 What will be your Responsibilities:

• Craft bespoke proposals that inspire and win, by designing and delivering tailored event proposals that reflect each client’s vision while showcasing Spain’s unique destinations and experiences. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of the MICE market to create solutions that are creative, competitive, and strategically aligned with client objectives.
• Drive value through smart negotiations, engaging with trusted suppliers and partners to secure premium services at the best possible rates. Your ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively will ensure every project delivers exceptional quality without compromising on budget.
• Collaborate for flawless execution, working hand-in-hand with Sales and Operations teams to transform ideas into reality. From initial concept to on-site delivery, you’ll ensure every detail is managed seamlessly, creating events that exceed expectations and strengthen client trust.
• Lead with innovation and sustainability, by staying ahead of industry trends and bringing fresh thinking to every project. You’ll integrate cutting-edge technology, sustainable practices, and creative formats into your proposals, positioning MCI Spain as a forward-thinking leader in the events space.
• Keep projects on track and clients engaged, maintaining accurate project status updates and nurturing client relationships using CRM and digital tools. Your proactive communication and organisational skills will ensure transparency, efficiency, and a positive client experience throughout the project lifecycle.

🎓 What We’re Looking For:

• You bring at least 5 years of hands-on expertise as an Event Manager in Spain.
• You communicate fluently in both Spanish and English (B2), effortlessly switching between languages in both spoken and written contexts. Also, you are a confident communicator, comfortable engaging with clients both virtually and in person.
• You have a very strong command of budgeting and financial management, with proven ability to craft persuasive proposals and negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure optimal value.
• You possess proven ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• You’re highly proficient across key Microsoft products (Excel & PowerPoint mandatory).
• You bring a solution-driven mindset with an exceptional eye for detail and precision.
• You have flexibility to travel across Spain and internationally for site inspections, trade fairs, and client meetings.
• You are an AI & data-savvy person, you use AI tools responsibly, work with prompts and contexts, recognize where technology can make processes more efficient and you are willing to keep learning about this subject.
• Bonus points: Cvent user, AI, CRM and additional languages.
