¿Qué estamos buscando?

Buscamos un/a Senior Data Engineer con 8-12 años de experiencia en entornos de datos modernos y un enfoque práctico ("hands-on") en el desarrollo de soluciones. La persona seleccionada liderará iniciativas relacionadas con gobierno del dato, calidad y arquitectura de datos, participando activamente en el diseño e implementación de pipelines y plataformas de datos sobre Google Cloud Platform (GCP) para un importante cliente del sector bancario europeo. Por lo tanto, es importante un nivel de inglés conversación avanzado. También es muy valorable la experiencia con BigQuery y Airflow.

 

Tus principales responsabilidades serán:

• Liderar iniciativas de gestión y gobierno del dato, garantizando la calidad, trazabilidad y estandarización de la información.
• Diseñar, desarrollar y supervisar pipelines de datos escalables y eficientes.
• Colaborar con equipos técnicos y de negocio para definir estándares y buenas prácticas de gestión de datos.
• Participar activamente en el desarrollo e implementación de soluciones utilizando tecnologías cloud y herramientas de procesamiento de datos.

Requisitos:

• Experiencia sólida como Data Lead, Data Engineer Senior o roles similares liderando iniciativas de gestión y transformación de datos.
• Amplio conocimiento en Data Quality, Data Lineage y Data Standards, así como experiencia en definición e implantación de marcos de gobierno del dato.
• Experiencia práctica y capacidad de desarrollo en Python, participando activamente en la construcción y mantenimiento de soluciones de datos.
• Experiencia con Apache Airflow, Apache Spark y entornos de procesamiento de datos distribuidos.
• Conocimiento y experiencia trabajando con servicios de Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especialmente Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Cloud Composer, Cloud Dataproc y BigQuery.
• Experiencia diseñando e implementando arquitecturas y pipelines de datos en entornos cloud.
• Nivel alto de inglés (mínimo B2-C1), con capacidad para mantener conversaciones fluidas, liderar reuniones técnicas y colaborar con clientes y equipos internacionales.

About The Role

We are looking for an engineering manager to lead our application security engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, as well as liaising with other teams delivering parts of our overall security posture. You'll be accountable for the security of software you don't write, in teams that don't report to you. The people who do well in this role get there by making the secure path the easiest one.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and improving the maturity of security programs, through the use of automation and systematic approaches in Cloud-based SaaS organizations, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You can tell the difference between a finding and a risk, and know how to prioritise risk mitigation, guiding the squad towards the most effective use of their time.

You must have significant engineering acumen as this is a highly technology-driven role. Your main role will be to support your engineering team and to do that you should be able to review a threat model, challenge a severity rating, and contribute to a design review.

Responsibilities

• Lead our application security team covering a range of areas, including application security, cloud security, and internal tooling development.
• Lead 1st and 3rd party vulnerability management, including coordinated disclosure with external reporters and embargoed fixes.
• Define, optimize, and implement the engineering strategy in concert with the security leadership team, ICs and stakeholders across the business.
• Regular 1:1s, coaching and mentoring to ensure your team members are motivated, happy and engaged. Providing continuous feedback to ensure that they can add value while maintaining high standards.
• Collaborating with our engineering leaders and other organization stakeholders to help define and influence wider product strategy, roadmaps and designs.

Requirements

• Prior experience running a security engineering team.
• You have a strong engineering background and are capable of engaging in technical conversations and challenging teams to arrive at strong technical decisions themselves.
• You will be comfortable working with engineering teams who have a strong sense of autonomy in their decision-making, be it technical or product-focused.
• While you’re great with people and adept at managing relationships, you still keep up-to-date with the latest technical trends and shifts to maintain and enhance your understanding of the challenges your teams face.
• You approach security with a DevOps mindset. You prefer security by enablement, automation, and guardrails over gates and roadblocks.

Compensation & Rewards

In Spain, the Base compensation range for this role is €94,025 - €112,830. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. What You Will Do

You'll join our Crawler Engineering team as a Backend Engineer focused on data acquisition. This is a building role: you'll design and develop high-performance systems, mostly in Rust, that collect billions of data points from the web. The work sits where backend engineering meets how the web works: HTTP stacks, proxies and browser tooling. When a data source blocks an approach, you'll dig into what's happening on the wire and find another way forward. You'll also help make our infrastructure "agent-friendly", so other teams can safely build on it with AI.

Where you will have impact

• Design, build and improve backend systems for data acquisition that handle close to 200 million requests a day.
• Work on our in-house proxy layer and browser tooling: request routing, connection handling and protocol-level behaviour.
• Investigate hard crawler problems, test alternative approaches when one gets blocked, and turn what works into robust, reusable systems.
• Build clear interfaces and guardrails so other teams and AI agents can use what you build reliably.
• Own the quality of your code, including code written with AI assistance: tests, observability and maintainability.

• You have hands on experience building, deploying and running production backend services in a cloud environment.

About Platform Engineering

Platform Engineering (platformengineering.org) is home to the world's largest community of platform engineers. We're looking for a Senior AI Automation & Systems Engineer to own the technical infrastructure behind our content and design operation, from planning and research, through AI-assisted production and quality control, to publishing and distribution.

This position is fully remote and is open to applicants based in Europe.

What You Will Do

• Take technical ownership of our content and design factory: tooling selection, automation pipelines, quality management, and agent orchestration that let a small team produce at scale.
• Design and development (structuring, prompting, QA) of complex multistep content and design creation workflows and interfaces as skills in model harnesses and external content workflow tools (e.g., AirOps, n8n).
• Think through the user journey and create UI integrations into existing solutions (e.g., Supabase databases) or vibe-code and maintain UI and interfaces for workflows, databases, etc. (search, export data, import to other workflows).
• Keep our stack modular and replaceable, evaluating tools continuously and making changes before we become dependent on the wrong ones.
• Reduce manual overhead systematically by building automations and agent workflows that replace repetitive processes.
• Work with leadership as a peer on architectural decisions and infrastructure direction, not just as an implementer.

🎯 MISIÓN

Garantizar el correcto funcionamiento y continuidad operativa de una plataforma tecnológica orientada a IA, proporcionando soporte N2/N3, análisis de incidencias y resolución de problemas en entornos Cloud/IA.

El perfil participará en la identificación de causas raíz, recuperación de servicios y mejora continua de la operación.

🧩 RESPONSABILIDADES

• Proporcionar soporte técnico N2/N3 sobre plataformas Cloud y/o IA.
• Monitorizar el estado y disponibilidad de las plataformas.
• Analizar y resolver incidencias técnicas.
• Realizar análisis de RCA (Root Cause Analysis) para identificar causas raíz.
• Gestionar incidencias de principio a fin, desde la identificación hasta su resolución.
• Participar en la recuperación y restauración de servicios.
• Analizar problemas recurrentes y proponer medidas preventivas.
• Coordinarse con equipos de infraestructura, Cloud, desarrollo y otros equipos técnicos.
• Realizar seguimiento de incidencias y problemas.
• Contribuir a la mejora continua de los procedimientos de soporte y operación.
• Aplicar buenas prácticas de gestión de servicios basadas en ITIL.
• Participar en la documentación técnica y procedimientos operativos.

• 4+ años de experiencia en soporte y/o operación TIC.
• 2+ años de experiencia en soporte N2/N3 de:

• Experiencia demostrable en:

• Gestión y resolución de incidencias
