About the role
As a Finance Intern at Amenitiz, you'll play a key support role within the Controlling team, helping manage daily financial and accounting operations. Your work will directly contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, from collecting and organizing invoices to assisting with payments and monthly closings. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a fast-growing tech startup while learning the fundamentals of operational finance and accounting.
Your missions
- Support the controlling team in the collection, classification, and processing of invoices, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with payment preparation and execution, helping to coordinate internal approval processes and monitor due dates.
- Help with the monthly accounting close, including booking entries, preparing reconciliations, and gathering documentation for accruals.
- Maintain and update internal tools and trackers to ensure accurate financial data flow.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth administrative and financial workflows.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in accounting, operational finance, and financial processes.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized, with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with accounting tools is a plus.
- Comfortable communicating in English and Spanish.
- A team player with a hands-on mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A paid, part-time internship with mentorship from a highly skilled and collaborative Controlling team.
