The role of IT Controller is positioned as a pivotal part of Axpo´s transformation into one of Europe´s leading energy sector IT organizations. The focus is on shaping IT financial processes, ensuring cost efficiency, and enhancing transparency while collaborating with diverse business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The role includes the following key tasks:

- Preparing and managing the IT budget, aligning IT costs with business units in Shared Services and other Axpo business units.
- Overseeing the allocation of IT costs, ensuring invoicing accuracy and cost tracking.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of the IT service catalog and SLAs to enhance transparency.
- Conducting profitability analyses, preparing business cases, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborating on project portfolio management, including investment reviews and budgets.
- Coordinating with Group Controlling for variance analysis and managing invoice reviews.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

- A degree in business informatics or business administration, with over 5 years of financial controlling experience.
- Strong proficiency in SAP FI/CO and Excel; skills in SAP Ariba, SAP Fiori, Power BI, and ServiceNow are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Technology Business Management (TBM) is beneficial.
