About the role
At Hybrid Intelligence we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the team in Spain. You will work in a team of experts with whom you will be able to share your knowledge and continue to learn and develop professionally, while participating in the growth and expansion of the team.

Job Description - Grade Specific
What are we looking for?
- PhD, graduates in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or related field.
- Previous experience of at least 5 years as Data Scientist.
- Excellent programming skills (essential) R, Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn), experience in object-oriented programming and pySpark.
- Experience running projects involving Machine Learning algorithms, ideally in a cloud environment with distributed computing.
- Strong background in statistics and probability theory for hypothesis testing, regression analysis and experimental design.
- Data handling skills, including cleaning, pre-processing and transforming raw data into usable formats for analysis and modelling.
- Experience developing mathematical models and predictive algorithms (optimisation, supervised and unsupervised models, clustering, neural networks...), Deep Learning, MLOPs will be an asset.
- Knowledge in natural language processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) is desirable.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (C1) and strong communication skills.
