FUNCTIONS
The Regulatory Intelligence Specialist is responsible for ensuring the legal compliance of our cosmetic products, collecting all available information from different sources, and anticipating any legislative changes that may affect our products to reduce the impact on our customers and our organization. We expect to have someone who proactively identifies emerging risks and opportunities, supports regulatory planning, and enhances internal processes and data systems.
This person will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and translating global regulatory developments into actionable strategies and insights for the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments across relevant markets, with a focus on the EU and other key regions.
• Prepare and distribute a quarterly Regulatory Newsletter summarizing key updates from industry associations (e.g., Cosmetics Europe, CTPA) and regulatory bodies.
• Assess the impact of new and emerging regulations on the business and provide actionable insights.
• Represent Revlon in trade association meetings and task forces, contributing to discussions on assigned topics and ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Compile regulatory intelligence, develop strategic recommendations, and align with senior management on critical regulatory issues affecting the business.
• Define regulatory strategies, including risk assessments for substances of concern, and support proactive compliance planning.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing timely and effective regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders globally. • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the regulatory compliance data system (currently SAP EHS) to ensure global accessibility and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and escalate potential improvements in systems, workflows, or organizational structure.
Requirements:
• BS in a scientific discipline (Pharmaceuticals, Biological Sciences, etc.)
• Minimum experience of 3 years in Regulatory in cosmetics.
• Advanced English level.
• IT Skills: Mycrosoft Office, valuable SAP.
• Competences: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player, organized and efficient.
