We are Coty Iberia, and we are recruiting a Market Demand & Supply Planning role in an exciting supply chain department that sits in the Iberia market office based in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

As our Market Demand & Supply Planner, you are responsible for to ensure the most accurate sales forecast in order to guarantee the availability of products on your brand portfolio. We are looking for a self-confident individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who comes with a solid grounding on all aspects of supply chain. More importantly, we are after candidates with proven planning experience, collaboration, and communication skills to drive performance.

Your main focus:

For your Brand portfolio, you are responsible for building sales forecasts over a 12-month horizon:

• You collect the data needed to build sales forecasts from the sales and marketing functions.
• You maintain forecasting tools (JDA manugistics): setting up and updating statistical models.
• You analyse data (sales monitoring, trends, deviations, etc.) with relevance to improve the quality of forecasts (performance indicators: Mape90, SPP1 & SPP3).
• You manage new product launches/shutdowns in collaboration with the global sales, marketing, and supply teams.
• You ensure the consistency of forecasts according to media and in-store investments, both on launches and regular pillars (base).
• You monitor the achievement of monthly sales and adjust the forecast signal accordingly.
• Each month, you prepare the consolidation of the forecasts, explain, and reconcile the variances vs. financial budget and identify the Business Risks and Opportunities, which you present in the various instances of the S&OP cycle.
  
  

Guarantor of product availability,

• You monitor the availability of adequate stocks to meet customer demand.
• You interact daily with the global Supply teams in order to secure the availability of the product portfolio.
• You identify and anticipate the risks of disruption to protect the customer service rate (performance indicator: Fill Rate).

You will give support to a team of Demand planners working for Prestige and Consumer Beauty Coty Divisions and directly reporting to the Demand Planning and S&OP Leader of the Business Unit. All your colleagues are experienced planners, who embodies a spirit of mutuality and operate in harmony, all while maintaining a clear focus on objectives. Working in a team, you won’t feel lonely facing the supply challenges.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to communicate, to relate to people at all levels from a variety of backgrounds. As a/an experienced Market Demand & Supply Planner, you are analytical with excellent attention to detail, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment. Other than that, you:

• Market planning experience with similar complexity of product lines.
• Fully proficient in standard IT packages, advanced Excel user essential for the role. Able to quickly pick up the use of internal planning systems.
• Able to effectively influence and challenge internal and external contacts.
• Able to work with autonomy and manage own workload effectively.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively, with customer-minded focus.
• Pro-active and flexible attitude to work tasks and responsibilities.
• Experience of pro-actively identifying and resolving issues.
