Title: Co-Founder & CBDO (Spain-Based), Mental Growth Network (MGN)

Location: Spain (Fully Remote/Hybrid with occasional travel)

This isn’t a traditional employment opportunity. Instead, we’re inviting an entrepreneurial leader to co-found and shape MGN’s future. At this early stage, compensation will be equity-based only, reflecting our shared commitment to building a transformative, sustainable organization from the ground up.

Mental Growth Network (MGN) is a newly formed NGO startup on a mission to improve global healthcare outcomes by fostering communication, education, and community-driven innovation—especially in mental health, healthtech, and biotech sectors. We connect thought leaders, practitioners, and innovators through events, conferences, and media platforms to spark dialogue and shared learning.

With a growing professional community of over 400 members, we’ve launched a free online educational channel to showcase our vision and highlight the cutting-edge work of global experts. Now, we’re looking for a dedicated Co-Founder & CBDO to drive strategic growth, secure funding, and forge strategic partnerships across Spain and the EU.

• Events: Host health hackathons, exhibitions, and workshops where participants can connect, innovate, and contribute to meaningful health-focused discussions.
• Conferences: Facilitate dynamic dialogues among professionals, allowing diverse stakeholders to explore new technologies, tackle current challenges, and shape the future of healthcare.
• Podcasts: Highlight one-on-one conversations with global experts, offering insights and personal breakthroughs that inspire and inform our broader community.

Fundraising & Financial Control:

• Leverage your Spain-based presence and EU networks to secure grants, philanthropic funds, and corporate sponsorships.
• Drive financial planning, reporting, and budgeting to ensure the sustainability of MGN’s operations.
• Develop diverse revenue streams, including sponsorships and donor contributions, while maintaining transparency and accountability.

Proactive Business Development:

• Identify and build strategic partnerships with corporates, investors, and advocacy groups to expand MGN’s initiatives and funding opportunities.
• Represent MGN at conferences, events, and stakeholder meetings to showcase the organization’s mission and attract supporters.
• Innovate and launch new programs to strengthen MGN’s position as a leading health innovation NGO in the EU.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Collaborate with Co-Founders to define and implement organizational strategies aligned with MGN’s mission.
• Inspire and lead a core team of passionate professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and ethical engagement.

• NGO Fundraising Experience: Proven success in securing funds, sponsorships, and grants for NGOs or social enterprises, ideally with EU-focused projects.
• Financial Expertise: Strong skills in financial planning, control, and reporting, ensuring sustainable growth and compliance with funding regulations.
• Visionary & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Motivated by the transformative power of health innovation, with the ability to navigate startup uncertainties and scale initiatives from the ground up.
• Strong Network: Existing connections with EU policymakers, corporate sponsors, and advocacy groups in health, biotech, and mental health sectors.

• Shape an Emerging NGO: Help guide an NGO from its infancy into a respected, international catalyst for healthcare innovation.
• Mission-Driven Impact: Connect with passionate experts, host meaningful events, and cultivate a global community dedicated to improving health systems and policies.
