Tu misión

Colaborar estrechamente con arquitectos, desarrolladores, operaciones y propietarios funcionales para ampliar y robustecer el programa de seguridad de aplicaciones.

Diseñar, construir y mantener un marco seguro de integración de aplicaciones (CI/CD, pipelines, infraestructuras, microservicios, APIs).

Integrar herramientas y procesos de seguridad (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC, contenedores, secretos) en el ciclo de vida del desarrollo, garantizando que la seguridad sea un habilitador, no un freno.

Definir indicadores clave (KPI) de seguridad, monitorizar resultados y generar reporting de valor para cliente y equipo.

Liderar la adopción de nuevas tecnologías, fomentar buenas prácticas, dar mentoría técnica y participar en un entorno ágil (Scrum, Kanban) con enfoque DevOps.

Lo que buscamos

Experiencia demostrable en seguridad aplicada a entornos de desarrollo y operaciones: evaluación de seguridad de aplicaciones, integración de seguridad en pipelines, automatización de controles.

Familiaridad con infraestructuras en la nube, microservicios, APIs, contenedores (Docker, Kubernetes), y definición + ejecución de IaC (Infrastructure as Code).

Context And Mission

The Mobile And Embedded-Based HPC Team Focuses On Evaluating Emerging Computing Technologies, From Mobile, Embedded And Other Markets, And Enabling Their Adoption In HPC Contexts. The Team's Activities Include

• Deploying and maintaining a hardware/software infrastructure of HPC prototypes based on emerging technologies (e.g., Arm- and RISC-V-based commercial platforms, FPGA-based systems) operating as compute nodes within an HPC data center.
• Performance evaluation of HPC clusters powered by emerging technologies, using benchmarks, mini-applications, and complex scientific applications.
• Providing feedback to RTL designers and system software developers, including compiler teams, to facilitate the adoption of novel architectures.
• Supporting scientific communities, industrial partners, and research projects in testing novel architectures and comparing results with state-of-the-art HPC systems.
  
  

The team is looking for a junior intern to support the deployment and configuration of the Slurm job scheduler on a cluster whose compute nodes expose FPGAs as a computing resource available to end users. This is an entry-level, hands-on position: an opportunity to learn how a modern HPC resource manager works and how heterogeneous accelerators are integrated into a shared, multi-user data-center environment, under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Duties

• - Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Slurm workload manager on a cluster with FPGA-equipped compute nodes.
• - Configure and test the exposure of FPGAs to users as schedulable resources through custom plug-ins.
• - Define and validate partitions, queues, and basic scheduling and accounting policies (e.g., QoS, limits, `slurmdbd` accounting).
• - Develop and test prolog/epilog and helper scripts to manage FPGA allocation, initialization, and clean-up between jobs.
• - Write example job scripts and short user-facing documentation showing how to request and use FPGA resources.
• - Verify the correct behavior of the configuration through simple functional tests and by supporting early users of the platform.

• - Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Development of the recruitment process

The selection will be carried out through a competitive examination system ("Concurso-Oposición"). The recruitment process consists of two phases:

• Curriculum Analysis: Evaluation of previous experience and/or scientific history, degree, training, and other professional information relevant to the position. - 40 points
• Interview phase: The highest-rated candidates at the curriculum level will be invited to the interview phase, conducted by the corresponding department and Human Resources. In this phase, technical competencies, knowledge, skills, and professional experience related to the position, as well as the required personal competencies, will be evaluated. - 60 points. A minimum of 30 points out of 60 must be obtained to be eligible for the position.
  
  

The recruitment panel will be composed of at least three people, ensuring at least 25% representation of women.

In accordance with OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for each vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will begin the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. At a minimum, a personality questionnaire as well as a technical exercise will be conducted during the process.

We are looking to staff a small, internal team for the development, integration and operation of new services to support mobile planning processes. Three projects are currently underway in this area, namely PreHCM NewMobile, FNP Cockpit and freiHEIGHT, in which IT solution designs have already been created and requirements specified, which are now to be implemented.

• PreHCM NewMobile is the replacement of an existing, monolithic application in which parameter registrations for mobile radio sites at the Federal Network Agency were previously coordinated by e-mail and are now to run automatically via M2M interfaces.
• FNP Cockpit is currently a PowerBI solution whose current architecture and data provision are problematic and is therefore to be completely rewritten in a service-orientated way to fit better into the environment.
• FreiHEIGHT is currently a Matlab application that helps to analyse security reserves at mobile radio sites. This is also to be completely rewritten in a service-orientated way and integrated into the processes.

Tasks description:

• Developing/improving software for complex products and services throughout the entire development process (life cycle).
• Clarifying requirements; devising concepts and general specifications for modifying software for complex products and services.
• Carrying out the relevant programming work (coding).
• Preparing and maintaining software documentation.
• Designing and defining system tests and test automation.
• Installing and configuring the software for complex products and services.
• Supporting team members during the fault analysis and up until fault clearance.
• Providing technical last-level support also to other teams for the systems and services managed.

Skills requirements:

Developer/SW Engineer with a background in data analysis:

• Very good knowledge of Python.
• Very good knowledge in the development of web services / (REST) API design.
• Experience with databases and ORMs.
