Scopely is looking for an Engineering Manager (Web Platform) to join our unannounced project in Barcelona on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

What You Will Do
We are looking for a Engineering Manager (Web Platform) to lead a team of engineers with a strong focus on modern web development stacks to help build and maintain the backend for our Game LiveOps platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with product teams, designers, and other disciplines to deliver high-performance tools and features that support real-time operations and engaging gameplay experiences.
- Leadership: Lead a high performing team of fullstack engineers by proposing and implementing improvements to the development processes, workflows and tools, to increase efficiency, quality and throughput.
- Collaboration: Work with Production and Product Owners to own the development cycle and identify the engineering tasks and processes needed to complete the roadmap. Maintain positive working relationships with technology teams within Scopely to improve the use of shared technologies.
- Communication: Facilitate communication both within and across disciplines. Facilitate and encourage the sharing of technical knowledge and code between projects.
- Growth: Participate in activities of recruitment, onboarding, development and professional training of the team. Define clear objectives to direct reports.
- LiveOps & Live Services: Lead the Development of features that support live game operations, empowering our designers and operators with real-time control and insights.
- Scalable Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of high-performance, low-latency web services in a cloud environment (AWS preferred) that can handle millions of players.
- Automation & Best Practices: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines design and implementation of automated tests to ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.
- Technical Guidance: Lead code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning to ensure best practices and continuous improvement of the engineering practices.
- Experience: professional experience as senior software engineer, with a strong foundation in programming and web development and with relevant experience in a team leadership role
- Leadership: track record of working in complex products (games is a bonus), leading initiatives from 0 to 1 with high degree of collaboration and quality with cross functional teams and multiple teams working on the same product and the same roadmap
- Backend Proficiency: hands-on experience in modern backend languages (Python strongly preferred; Go or C# also a plus).
- Web Technologies: Solid experience in the development of RESTful services and modern web frameworks (Vue.js or Angular preferred). Experience with JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SCSS) is essential
- Database Expertise: experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres) and caching solutions (Redis), as well as other NoSQL databases like DynamoDB
- Cloud & Containers: Professional experience with containerized solutions (Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes) in a public cloud environment (AWS preferred). Infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a bonus.
- Automation & CI/CD: experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and load testing for robust production deployments.
- Engineering Best Practices: Committed to enforce and practice clean, maintainable, and testable code, with an emphasis on performance and scalability.

Tu rol dentro de Unicaja
Queremos sumar a nuestro Hub de IAG un/a Experto en Desarrollo Back Python apasionado/a por la innovación y la transformación digital. Serás parte de un entorno multidisciplinar, innovador y con impacto real en el sector a través de la tecnología.

En aquello en lo que pondrás foco:
- Responsable de garantizar la viabilidad técnica en la implementación del backend de cada sistema.

Lo que buscamos:
Experiencia:
- 5-10 años de experiencia gestionando de proyectos de desarrollo de aplicaciones de software tradicional con Python e IA Tradicional. Será valorable que hayas trabajado en proyectos de desarrollo de aplicaciones IA Generativa con Python (Langchain o Llamaindex) al menos durante 1 año.
- Formación académica en Ingeniería Informática, Ingeniería de Software, Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones o áreas afines.
Además, es necesario que seas:
- Proactivo, resolutivo y con orientación a resultados. Que tengas experiencia en el desarrollo de MVPs y proyectos de IAG, priorización estratégica de actividades.
- Tengas conocimientos avanzados en estrategias de escalabilidad y continuidad operativa, gestión de proyectos en Agile y Waterfall.
Tu Stack tecnológico imprescindible es el siguiente:
- Nivel Avanzado de Python.

Desde la Dirección Corporativa de Seguridad (DCS), nos encontramos en búsqueda de un/a Científico/a de Datos para trabajar en proyectos de Ciberseguridad, una persona emprendedora que esté dispuesta a desafiar el statu quo de los procesos existentes en el Centro de Operaciones de Seguridad, con el objetivo de mejorar su eficiencia e introducir mejoras y soluciones basadas en datos e Inteligencia Artificial.
Trabajarás en un entorno dinámico de alto rendimiento dentro del Global SOC y tendrás la oportunidad de acceso a tecnologías punteras de grandes proveedores tecnológicos de primera línea a nivel mundial.
¿Cuáles serán tus responsabilidades?
- Definir una estrategia de Data para el Global SOC que permita a la Dirección Corporativa de Seguridad (DCS) extraer el máximo partido bajo las premisas de mejorar la eficiencia, mejorar la eficacia, y ampliar el alcance y las capacidades de control, monitorización y respuesta.
- Crear y gestionar una infraestructura de datos sólida y fiable que incluya herramientas de almacenamiento, procesamiento, transformación, visualización y reporte de datos, mediante plataformas basada en Sentinel, SPLUNK y AWS.
- Implementar y mantener prácticas de CI/CD para soluciones e infraestructura de datos, automatizando los procesos de implementación, pruebas y supervisión.
- Colaborar con el resto de los integrantes del Global SOC y otras áreas de la DCS para definir requisitos y proporcionar soporte técnico que posibiliten el acceso, la transformación y el análisis de datos para la aplicación de técnicas de Data Science.
- Optimizar el procesamiento de datos y los flujos de trabajo ETL, supervisando y mejorando continuamente su rendimiento, fiabilidad y escalabilidad.
- Garantizar que los estándares de seguridad y calidad de los datos se mantengan durante todo el ciclo de vida de los datos, implementando procesos adecuados de gobernanza de datos y mejores prácticas.
- Titulación: Grado en Ingeniería o Matemáticas con especialización en alguna disciplina de Data Science.
- Idioma: español (C1) e inglés (C1).
- Experiencia: al menos 1 año de experiencia trabajando en entornos de ciberseguridad y data.
- Manejo de tecnologías de Big Data, herramientas ETL y explotación del dato (Apache Airflow, Hadoop y PowerBI).
- Manejo avanzado de tratamiento de datos para entrenamiento de modelos IA (TensorFlow y Keras).
- Conocimientos en programación en SQL, Python, PowerShell y contenerización con tecnologías Docker.
- Conocimiento en alguna o varias de las siguientes tecnologías de seguridad:

We oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery, blending technical expertise, strategic thinking, analytics, project management skills and effective communication to ensure products meet both user needs and business objectives.

- Ubuntu Platform - Our Ubuntu experience on Desktop, Server, Windows (WSL), Multipass, Gaming, Enterprise, & Hardware Enablement
- Ubuntu Pro Services - Our key commercial offerings Ubuntu Pro, Compliance, Standards, Security Engineering, and Managed Services on cloud and on prem
- AI/ML & MLOps - Open source AI/ML solutions, AIOps automation, model lifecycle management, Kubeflow, MLFlow, KServe, and AI infrastructure on cloud and edge
- IoT - Ubuntu on embedded devices and/or edge servers, device management, and robotics
- Cloud - Ubuntu in public and private clouds, promoting automation frameworks, and including technologies such as Kubernetes, MAAS, and LXD
- Telco - Open source for Telco's including technologies and standards related to Core Network, RAN/vRAN, SoNIC, DENT, and SmartNICs
- Finance - Open source solutions for financial institutions including trading platforms, blockchain technologies, regulatory compliance, and AI-driven analytics
- Automotive - Open source solutions for autonomous driving, in-vehicle infotainment, connected vehicles, and compliance with automotive industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
- Application Management - Open source solutions in the enterprise including Observability, IAM, App Stores and technologies such Grafana, GitOps, and Juju Charms
Location: These roles are home based in the EMEA time zone. You will be expected to be located in this region.
The role entails
- Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing the priorities and goals for your product
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales
- Address common challenges across projects, align on priorities, enable informed decisions, and keep business execution on track
- Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities

IQUADRAT INFORMATICA S.L (IQU) is a technology company founded in 1997, with a focus on delivering System-Level evaluation tools for wireless networks. IQU R&D has been providing global solutions and services in the use of Internet and Telecommunications to companies and institutions that use information and communication technologies in commercial, marketing, management and business communication areas. IQU’s R&D has a focused business plan specifically intended on delivering a “new generation of tools for system level evaluation of wireless integrated communication systems towards the society digital transformation”. The R&D has extensive know-how in new concepts such as network/RAN virtualization, programmable networks, network slicing, cell-free, Artificial Intelligence and is also active in the fast-growing IoT paradigm with a plethora of vertical use cases. IQU´s R&D offers well established experimentation tools in 5G and IoT. IQU is active in many EU funded research projects related to 5G, 6G Smart Grid and IoT in collaboration with big European vendors and operators.
IQU´s R&D department is looking for one Researcher in the framework of H2020 and Horizon Europe projects. The work focuses on the analytical evaluation of the proposed solutions as well as proof of concepts in inhouse experimentation platforms. The successful applicant should have a PhD or Master degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
Tasks
The selected candidate will:
- Contribute software for cutting edge research projects related to 5G/6G Network and Service management, Zero Touch Networks, Data-Driven Communications using AI/ML, LLM and experimental validation.
- Be in contact and work with cutting-edge technology, validated at our in-house experimental 5G platforms.
- Work in challenging 5G/6G and IoT R&D projects and represent the company in project meetings and research initiatives.
- Represent IQU in exhibitions like Mobile World Congress Forum, IoT Solutions World Congress, Smart Cities Expo etc.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Position_1. Cloud or Software Engineer
- Experience with Linux server operating systems
- Familiar with cloud-native (Docker and container networking or Kubernetes) principles (and optionally K8s)
- Preferred programming languages: Python
- Preferred experience with Git, Terraform, and Ansible
Position_2. Network Engineer
- A strong understanding of basic networking principles and networking protocols
- Can configure hardware and network equipment like routers, switches (optionally: 5G base stations)
- Preferred knowledge of 4G / 5G architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
Hands-on experience with OpenStack and / or cloud deployment technologies
Experience with provisioning and managing Virtual Machines.
