Tareas

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Being an SRE in VeepeeTech means to be a part of the transversal SRE community and at the same time integrate one of the agile product teams. You will ensure the system´s reliability and scalability by applying DevOps practices and share knowledge within the SRE community.

TASKS
- Implementing tools and processes for deployment and industrialization (CI/CD, blue/green, canary, rollback, etc.);
- Automating provisioning of a resilient infrastructure that meets the needs of products;
- Working with development teams to facilitate regular releases;
- Maintaining services in operational conditions, analyze and resolve performance and scalability anomalies (load tests) of current and historical deployments;
- Supervising the application portfolio in collaboration with the Network Operations Center (NOC), manage access and security;
- Participating in the evolution of the IS (VMware migration to KVM and service offer) and the reduction of the technical debt;
- Being the evangelist of DevOps´ good practices and participate in the construction of a true transversal SRE community within Veepee.

MUST HAVE skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar function;
- Knowledge of industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow flow and DevOps practices in general and understanding of a system side;
- Familiar with Linux (good knowledge), knowledge of Windows would be a plus;
- Proficiency with IaC: Packer, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet;
- SUP: Icinga, ELK, Prometheus;
- Hands on with Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad;
- Proficiency with different types of DB such as, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch;
- You have strong verbal and written English language skills.

NICE TO HAVE skills
- Knowledge of languages such as .Net, Python or Go would be a plus;

YOUR CHALLENGE
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python applications and machine learning models using GitLab CI/Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes

YOUR PROFILE

- ML Engineering Aptitude: Ability to own the full ML lifecycle—from training and evaluation to deployment and monitoring—with attention to reproducibility and compliance

Buscamos un/a DevSecOps Engineer Senior apasionado por integrar la seguridad a lo largo de todo el ciclo de vida de desarrollo de software (SDLC). Serás la pieza clave para garantizar que la seguridad sea un pilar fundamental de nuestra metodología DevOps, implementando y mejorando herramientas y procesos que permitan el desarrollo de software de forma rápida y segura.

🎯 Responsabilidades principales
El/La candidato/a desarrollará un rol de liderazgo técnico y funcional en la integración de la seguridad en el proceso de desarrollo y entrega de software:

Gobierno y Estrategia de Seguridad:
⦁Liderar y ejecutar actividades relacionadas con el gobierno de las funciones de Desarrollo Seguro.
⦁Definir, mantener y evolucionar la arquitectura de seguridad de las plataformas de desarrollo, asegurando la mejora continua.
Implementación y Mejora de Capacidades:
⦁Diseñar y desarrollar capacidades de seguridad robustas para el Desarrollo Seguro, incluyendo la implementación de herramientas y pipelines.
⦁Desarrollar componentes (piezas de código/automatización) que soporten procesos críticos de seguridad dentro del SDLC.
Soporte y Acompañamiento:
⦁Ofrecer acompañamiento y soporte de seguridad directo a los equipos de desarrollo.
⦁Brindar soporte técnico y de seguridad en la definición, mantenimiento y evolución de las arquitecturas de referencia.

📝 Requisitos y Experiencia
⦁Seguridad en CI/CD: Experiencia experta en la implementación y gestión de capacidades de seguridad en la integración y entrega continuas, tales como:
-SAST (Static Application Security Testing)
-SCA (Software Composition Analysis)
-DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing)
⦁Sólidas nociones y conceptos de seguridad general.
⦁Automatización y Scripting: Amplios conocimientos y experiencia práctica con lenguajes de scripting como Python, TypeScript (TS) y Bash.
⦁Orquestación y Pipelines: Experiencia demostrable con orquestadores CI/CD como Jenkins, GitHub Actions, o GitLab CI.
⦁Personalización de Herramientas: Capacidad para escribir y mantener reglas custom para herramientas de seguridad específicas (Ejemplo: Trivy, Checkmarx, SonarQube, etc.).
⦁Contenedores y Orquestación: Experiencia con contenedores (Docker) y sus orquestadores (Kubernetes/K8s, Docker Swarm o Docker Compose).
⦁Infraestructura como Código (IaC): Conocimientos sólidos de Terraform, Ansible y/o otras herramientas de IaC.

Requirements:

• Comfortable with standard ML algorithms and underlying math
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs in production, RAG architecture, and agentic systems
• AWS Bedrock experience strongly preferred
• Practical experience with solving classification and regression tasks in general, feature engineering
• Practical experience with ML models in production
• Practical experience with one or more use cases from the following: NLP, LLMs, and Recommendation engines
• Solid software engineering skills (i.e., ability to produce well-structured modules, not only notebook scripts)

• English level - strong Intermediate

Responsibilities:

• Create ML models from scratch or improve existing models.
• Collaborate with the engineering team, data scientists, and product managers on production models
• Develop experimentation roadmap.
• Set up a reproducible experimentation environment and maintain experimentation pipelines
• Monitor and maintain ML models in production to ensure optimal performance
• Write clear and comprehensive documentation for ML models, processes, and pipelines
