Introduction To The Vacant Position

The Biomimetic systems for cell engineering Group is looking for a Laboratory Assistant to assist the ongoing research projects of the group, particularly in the fabrication of hydrogel-based 3D models and support cell culture activities.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree with excellent manual skills to handle delicate materials.

Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:

Assist in the preparation and assembly of hydrogel-based 3D models

Perform routine cell culture maintenance and support experimental procedures

Handle small tools and components with precision and care

Maintain organized lab records and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements For Candidates

Technical training in biomedical laboratory or similar

Basic experience with cell culture techniques will be advantageous

Excellent manual skills and attention to detail

Patience and the ability to work meticulously under supervision

Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.

Adaptability and willingness to support the diverse needs of the team

Basic level of English since it is the main communication language within the group

Working Conditions

Full-time 6 months contract
