Mission:

The mission of this role is to be responsible for the financial area´s information management for business monitoring and compliance with Santander Group´s requirements and regulatory bodies, as well as support in the decision-making related to Openbank´s strategy. This person will also be in charge of the automation of processes, with a strong focus on SQL and Python.

Responsibilities:

- MIS project management.
- Key business KPI monitoring.
- Reporting to the Management Team and Santander Group.
- Compliance with regulatory agencies´ requirements.
- Support various information needs of the area and/or other areas.
- Support other projects in the financial area.

To be successful in the role you must have:

- +5 years of experience in a similar position with a strong focus on SQL and Python.
- Bachelor´s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics).
- Proven knowledge of SQL, Python, and Pyspark. Desirable knowledge in AI and Machine Learning algorithms.
- B2 or similar English level.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team, communicate, and share findings with team members.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find solutions proactively.
- Highly motivated candidate with sound judgment, able to handle confidential information, integrity, and a solid work ethic.
