About The Role And The Team

The detail-oriented Junior Editorial Intern will produce and edit digital articles for bodas.com.mx and LT wedding brands. This person should have an extreme eye for detail, an understanding of CMS and digital article production, be well-versed in grammar and syntax in Spanish, able to diligently follow directions and adhere to a style guide.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for producing individual articles for our MX and LT wedding brands, moving the articles from manuscript, building them in the CMS, reviewing from quality and publishing them live on site.
• You diligently follow the Editorial Style Guide and production workflow, ensuring content quality and standardization.
• You will also edit and proofread the articles that the team of freelancers will leave in the CMS, and ensure that it is optimal content to publish.
• Creation of the weekly newsletter, carefully selecting the articles to be displayed, and a catchy subject line.
• Candidate will be provided with appropriate CMS and Editorial style training (examples might include our local software and systems, or processes).
  
  

Successful Candidates Have

• You are studying journalism or a related degree, where writing is a core skill.
• Basic/medium SEO knowledge and excellent writing skills.
• Some level of experience or exposure to working in a digital editorial or digital content production Content Management System.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Adherence to quality standards, strong perspective on levels of article quality, and commitment to accuracy.
• Understanding of digital content.
• Respect for editorial integrity and journalist best practices.
• Comfortable working independently, while able to collaborate with team members and be open to other perspectives.
• Ability to communicate clearly and to work quickly and collaboratively.
