Job purpose

The Art Director will lead the visual and creative direction of CUBRO’s marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand’s visual identity, ensuring it resonates with our target audience while driving engagement and conversions. The Art Director will work closely with the Brand Director to innovate in furniture design aesthetics and marketing presentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish and steer the artistic vision and strategies for marketing campaigns, coordinating with the marketing team to ensure alignment with the overall brand direction.
2. Lead and direct photo shoots, design layouts, and all visual content creation for digital and print media.
3. Supervise and collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and other creative staff to produce visually engaging designs that reflect the brand’s ethos.
4. Manage the conceptual process and execution of campaign visuals, promotional materials, and all other visual communications.
5. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
6. Utilize data and customer feedback to refine visual strategies and increase the effectiveness of design elements.
7. Keep up-to-date with graphic design, photography, and digital marketing trends to incorporate best practices into the brand's strategy.

Required qualifications and skills

• Extensive experience in art direction, preferably in the retail or related industry, with a portfolio showcasing strong creative and project management skills.
• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
• A deep passion for architecture, interior design, and distinctive furniture is essential, along with a thorough understanding of the CUBRO brand, our positioning, and familiarity with our projects to date.
• Experience in video format, including understanding production processes, creating storyboards to tell stories effectively, and having the ability to translate these into clear, executable concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively manage and inspire a creative team.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling visual content.
