Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a talented and versatile Senior Art Director to lead the visual direction of our creative projects and ensure exceptional quality across every deliverable. You’ll collaborate closely with directors, producers, and multidisciplinary teams (3D/2D designers and programmers) to transform briefs into compelling visual concepts—delivered with consistency, precision, and a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Concept Development & Design: Create innovative visual concepts and design solutions for projects such as projection mapping, light shows, exhibitions, 3D animations, interactive installations, immersive experiences, and VR—based on the initial brief provided by the client or directors.
- Artistic Leadership: Define and guide the overall visual style of each project, ensuring alignment with the creative vision and brand guidelines. This direction is often communicated through visual presentations (PowerPoint / Google Slides).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with 3D and 2D designers, programmers, producers, and other creatives to execute projects efficiently and at the highest standard, following the production schedule set by the producer.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual outputs reflect ONIONLAB’s style while also meeting each client’s brand guidelines, communicating identity, values, and messaging clearly.
- Client Communication: When needed, connect with clients to understand objectives and preferences, present proposals, and gather feedback to move the project forward.
- Review & Validation: Review all produced content before delivery, ensuring it is free of errors, artifacts, blank frames, or any imperfections.
- Feedback Tracking & Resolution: Document all feedback related to your work (from directors and clients) in the project’s Google Doc (or similar), ensure each point is addressed in revisions, and—when possible—also record the feedback shared with the design team to maintain clarity and alignment.

What You Bring:

- Strong ability to translate creative briefs into clear visual concepts and coherent art direction.
- Experience guiding multidisciplinary teams and aligning multiple stakeholders around a visual vision.
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-first mindset, especially in final reviews and delivery.
- Strong communication skills for presenting work internally and to clients.
- Comfort working with tight timelines and structured production calendars.

Minimum Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as an Art Director in a similar role within production companies, studios, or agencies.
