The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

Are you a driven and ambitious professional looking to kick-start or elevate your career in SaaS sales? Join Personio's Sales team and become a key player in shaping the future of HR software for businesses across Iberia.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your role is to identify, engage, and qualify potential customers who can benefit from Personio’s industry-leading HR platform. You will proactively reach out to decision-makers, understand their challenges, and introduce them to the value of digital HR solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise, build strong business relationships, and collaborate with top-performing Account Executives. If you're looking for a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can make an impact, this role is for you.

The role is mainly office based. 4 days per week in our Madrid office, with flexibility.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Own the early stages of the sales process by driving new business opportunities.
  • Strategically prospect and engage with potential customers through a combination of outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and tailored campaigns.
  • Research and identify key companies in Spain that could benefit from Personio’s HR software.
  • Understand and evaluate prospects' needs, clearly communicating how Personio can transform their HR processes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers, fostering trust and engagement.
  • Work closely with Account Executives (AEs) to hand over high-quality, sales-ready opportunities.
  • Collaborate with fellow SDRs and the wider sales team, sharing best practices and innovative strategies to drive pipeline growth.
  • Consistently meet and exceed KPIs related to outbound activity, pipeline creation, and sales conversions.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment).
  • A hunter mentality – you thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • A strategic and organized approach to prospecting, with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – you’re an active listener, confident speaker, and persuasive writer.
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset, eager to learn and grow.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while owning your individual success.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
