Our journey

Founded in 2017 by Alexandre and Steve, Qonto has grown to 1,600+ Qontoers serving over 600,000 customers across 8 European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands. We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started as we want to become the indisputable European leader in SME finance management.

Join us as a Events Intern to shape and elevate Qonto's presence in the Spanish market through impactful events and innovative experiences, while working alongside our dynamic team in Barcelona to bring our brand to life through professional gatherings, industry fairs, and corporate events!

👩💻🧑💻 As a Events Intern in Spain at Qonto, you will:

• Support the planning and organization of in-house events and our presence at third-party trade shows, managing operational tasks such as supplier research, logistics, and on-site coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Legal, PR, Sales) to prepare briefings and requests and ensure all assets - from booth designs to communication materials - are delivered on time and on brand.
• Nurture relationships with external stakeholders, managing daily interactions with suppliers (catering, venues, shipping) and partners to ensure smooth event execution.
• Monitor and report on event performance, helping to track results and identify opportunities to improve the impact of our marketing initiatives.
• Act as a Qonto ambassador, engaging with attendees and potential customers during events to strengthen our community in Spain.

You will report to María Sánchez Jerez, our Senior Events Manager.

María is the perfect example of the growth opportunities at Qonto, since she started her journey here as an intern in the Events team over 4 years ago and has since grown, leading our Events strategy for Spain!

Having been in your shoes, she understands exactly what it takes to succeed and grow in this role. She is a detail-oriented and creative leader who values transparency and collaboration. She will give you the confidence to speak out, the space to explore new ideas, and the mentorship to help you build your own career path at Qonto.

🏅About You:

• Experience: You are a Master's student looking for an end-of-studies internship OR a recent graduate (having completed your studies less than 3 years ago) eligible for a training contract (contrato de formación). You have previous internship experience in Marketing or Events, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Organization & Rigor: You have strong project management skills, are detail-oriented, and can manage multiple tasks with autonomy.
• Stakeholder Management: You are comfortable communicating and building relationships with various stakeholders, from internal teams to external suppliers.
• Languages: You have an excellent command of both written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Mindset: You are proactive, creative, and result-oriented, always looking for solutions to help the team achieve its goals.
