We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship starting in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Watch your ambitions become reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.

The Merchant Acquisition and Incubation (MAI) team plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of TikTok Shop's merchant ecosystem. The acquisition team focuses on identifying and onboarding potential partners, introducing them to TikTok's innovative content-driven e-commerce model, and guiding them through the setup process to launch their businesses on the platform.

Meanwhile, the incubation team nurtures these merchants, offering comprehensive operational support and strategic guidance. Through online and offline training, customized strategies, and incentive programs, they help merchants optimize their performance, increase GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), and achieve long-term business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage merchant leads, expand different lead channels, be responsible for lead supply and distribution, and improve lead conversion rate.
  • Explore high-potential merchants through email, phone calls, online/offline events, etc, and carry out subsequent operation and incubation.
  • Daily merchant management and incubation, including but not limited to helping merchants solve daily business problems, formulating customized business plans and strategies for merchants, analyzing business data, mining, processing, analyzing, and managing merchant leads data, etc.
  • Deeply understand the needs of merchants, collect feedback from merchants, sort out the pain points and demand reports on a regular basis, and collaborate with cross-teams to solve problems efficiently
  • Cooperate with the team to conduct merchant case studies and market research, provide analytical insights, to help the team optimize strategies

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or above, graduating in 2026.
  • Available immediately for 3-6 months.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination, with a good understanding of project management.
  • Proficiency in English for smooth collaboration.
  • Fluent Spanish required to enable efficient communication and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship experience in e-commerce, with an understanding of the e-commerce and short video industries, is a plus.
