Job Title: Hostel Receptionist

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and online booking platforms
• Provide information about the hostel, local attractions, and activities
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Manage payments, invoices, and basic administrative tasks
• Coordinate with food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure the readiness of the reservation is in top condition
• Handle guest complaints or issues in a calm and efficient manner
• Support general hostel operations when needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic computer skills (PMS experience is a plus)
