Senior Golang Software Engineer

Hybrid - Madrid - Spain

We are seeking an Engineering Manager with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Secure Coding for Golang and GoLang. Experience in eCommerce replatform is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of secure coding practices in Golang.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure that all code is reviewed and meets the company´s security standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and address any issues.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Experience in Secure Coding for Golang.
- Experience in GoLang.
- Nice to have experience in eCommerce replatform.
- Are not afraid of expressing yourself in English. We aren´t expecting you to have the Queen´s accent, but you´ll be part of an international team and we communicate in English, so you should be comfortable with that.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in leading engineering teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and maintaining documentation.
- Experience in implementing best practices for software development.
- Experience in monitoring and improving system performance.
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science or Information System, Telecom or 3+ years equivalent experience in an engineering role.
