We are looking for an exceptional leader to join us as the Strategy, Transformation & Marketing VP for Europe. You'll be at the forefront of shaping our long-term vision and guiding us towards a prosperous future. In this role, you will not just shape strategy; you will bring it to life, drive transformation, and ensure our success in a dynamic environment.

As the Strategy, Transformation & Marketing VP Europe, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing the company's strategy across 37 countries in Europe. You'll collaborate with all our businesses, areas, and functions to ensure a shared vision and a unified path forward. With your leadership, we aim to transfer our strengths into strategic initiatives, execute strategies effectively, and accelerate our transformation programs to thrive in the future. Reports to Karla Lindahl, EVP Europe with a dotted line reporting to EVP Strategy & Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading KONE Strategy development and following through with strategy execution.
  • Leading KONE Way – KONE’s operating model development and deployment.
  • Leading KONE’s investment prioritization process.
  • Leading transformation programs.
  • Driving the company's agility and readiness for the future.
  • Leading and supporting marketing initiatives, as well as brand experiences and events, to align with KONE’s strategy to drive profitable growth.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

We seek a candidate with the following comprehensive qualifications and experience:

  • Leadership Experience: relevant experience in leadership roles, demonstrating increasing responsibility. While experience with profit and loss responsibility is preferred, we also appreciate diverse leadership experiences - making critical decisions, guiding organizational strategy, and achieving substantial business results. A consistent record of performance, exemplified by quantifiable achievements, project successes, and the ability to meet or exceed goals and deadlines.
  • Strategic Visionary: Proven ability to develop and implement successful business strategies. We are interested in leaders who have driven growth, enhanced profitability, or improved competitive positioning, regardless of industry.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong competence and a record of accomplishment within the domain of strategy and transformation. A deep understanding of industry dynamics, emerging trends, and a history of effectively navigating and influencing within the sector.
  • Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture. Experience in building and managing diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives is highly valued.
  • Transformation Projects: Experience in leading large-scale transformation projects, especially within complex or rapidly changing environment. Strong ability to navigate challenges, implement change, and achieve measurable and sustainable results.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. We appreciate candidates who can articulate complex ideas clearly and engage effectively with diverse audiences, both internal and external.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of using data and metrics to inform and validate business decisions.
