Descripción
Operational Management and Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including warehouse management ,logistics coordination, and inventory control.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Warehouse & Logistics Management:
- Ensure efficient handling, storage, and distribution of products across multiple shifts, including night operations.
- Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other tools to optimize inventory accuracy and operational productivity.
Continuous Improvement & Quality:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality standards and compliance.
Planning and Execution:
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable operational plans.
- Coordinate resources and capabilities to meet production and service goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.
Financial & Resource Management:
- Manage operational budgets (+8 million EUR) and optimize costs without compromising service quality.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production and service targets.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary operational teams (+100 employees, with 3 hierarchy levels)
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration.
- Lead and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management for operational staff.
- Develop internal talent through training and mentoring.
Stakeholder Relations:
- Work closely with purchasing, procurement, customer services and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and external stakeholders.
Innovation & Technology:
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Champion the integration of new technologies to enhance company capabilities, together with the IT team
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards.
- Implement effective operational risk management strategies.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in senior operational leadership roles in distribution or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety regulations.
- Experience with ERP (valuable Navision/Business Central), WMS and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required to support operational needs.
