We are seeking a dedicated Engineering and Maintenance Manager to support our Sherwin-Williams Site in Granollers.
Responsibilities
- Enforce safe systems of work and hold managers/contractors accountable for safety
- Provide safe equipment, work environment, and ensure proper PPE use
- Inform, instruct, train, and supervise employees for safe work execution
- Maintain a zero-injury goal through incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, laws, and regulations
- Meet maintenance schedules, quality initiatives, safety targets, and efficiency metrics
- Lead staffing activities: hiring, training, performance reviews, discipline, and guidance
- Manage multiple employee groups, allocate resources, and address complex concerns
- Analyze operational reports, improve processes, and implement necessary changes
- Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality, efficiency, and budget control
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR and awareness of SEVESO/COMAH regulations
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage change and build effective relationships in diverse environments
- Skilled communicator (written & verbal) with strong teamwork values
- Data-driven, numerically astute, with strong commercial and financial awareness
- Experienced in project management, proposals, presentations, and business acumen
- Hands-on, self-motivated, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer orientation
- Advanced PC skills and professional work ethic
