The Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing large volumes of data, developing predictive models, and extracting actionable insights to support the company’s strategic decision-making. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to transform data into business value.

What You Do

  • Collect, clean, and process large sets of structured and unstructured data
  • Develop and validate statistical, machine learning, and deep learning models
  • Visualize data and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define problems and propose data-driven solutions
  • Deploy models into production and monitor their performance
  • Stay up to date with trends and technologies in data science

Academic

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related fields

Technical

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R
  • Experience with data science libraries and frameworks (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, etc.)
  • Experience using cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plu

Soft Skills

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate complex ideas in a simple way
  • Proactivity and results orientation
  • Adaptability and continuous learning

Experience

  • At least 2 years in similar roles involving data analysis, predictive modelling, or data science
  • Proven experience in machine learning or advanced data analysis projects

Desirable

  • Certifications in data science or machine learning
  • Participation in data competitions (Kaggle, DrivenData, etc.)
  • Experience in specific industries (finance, retail, healthcare, etc.)
