We are looking for a Social Video Editor & Content Creator to join our Social Media Engine team.
This role combines strong editing expertise with hands-on video capture for social platforms. The ideal candidate understands how content performs across digital channels and can move fluidly between editing, shooting and collaborating on new ideas in a fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in feeding ongoing content calendars with culturally relevant, platform-native video.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit short-form engaging and narrative video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms
- Structure edits for engagement, retention and platform performance.
- Add captions, motion graphics and sound design optimized for social viewing
- Deliver multiple cut-downs and format adaptations efficiently
- Shoot mobile-first native premium content
- Operate mirrorless cameras for lightweight in-house productions
- Set up and manage basic lighting and audio equipment
- Capture interviews, product content, behind-the-scenes footage and reactive social pieces
- Jump into fast-turnaround content needs as required
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and format development
- Contribute to the ideation of content calendars and recurring social series
- Participate in meetings were trends, platform updates and emerging formats are monitored daily
- Identify new editing styles, storytelling approaches and content behaviors with the help of senior members of the video department.
- Collaborate closely with art direction, creator, design, strategy and production teams to execute ideas
- Proven experience editing short-form social video content
- Proficiency in CapCut (After Effects and Premiere Pro are a plus)
- Experience shooting with mobile devices and mirrorless/DSLR cameras
- Strong understanding of platform-native storytelling and audience behavior
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A socially fluent video professional
- Strong aesthetic and technical judgment
- Curiosity about digital culture and evolving formats
- A collaborative mindset within a content engine structure
- Hands-on, adaptable and solution-oriented
- English (mandatory)
- Spanish (preferably)
- Any other languages are a plus.
