Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform to be consumed across the company.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Drive innovation and explore emerging technologies to enhance our data capabilities.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and security.
Experience and qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experience working with structured and unstructured data sources.
- Data engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling.
- Graph database modelling encouraged.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, including designing and implementing data solutions at scale
- Self-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, continuously improving both technical and business skills.
- Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
- Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
