The University of Rome Tor Vergata invites applications for its fully-funded PhD programs for the 2025/2026 academic year (41st cycle). These programs are open to candidates of all nationalities and cover a diverse array of academic fields, with over 35 PhD programs available.

Requirements

– Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent, or be in their final year of study (degree completion required by October 31, 2025).

– Applications are open to both EU and non-EU degree holders (with appropriate documentation).

– Remote oral examinations are available.

– Some positions are reserved specifically for foreign applicants.

– Application fee is €35 per application; multiple applications are permitted.

Scholarships

– Standard scholarship of €1,195 per month (net) for three years.

– Higher funding is available for selected programs (e.g., Materials & Chemical Sciences).
