An international organization in the aerospace and advanced engineering sector, dedicated to the development and production of high-performance systems and components for global programs, is seeking a Planner / Coordinator to join their team in Barcelona. They operate in an environment that values precision, innovation, and collaboration, driving the next generation of aerospace and space technologies.
Position Overview
This role demands both operational insight and analytical capability to translate complex data into actionable decisions that ensure production stability and material availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production and material plans aligned with demand, capacity, and project priorities.
- Manage material availability and ensure on-time delivery through close coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Oversee and validate MRP/ERP outputs, ensuring accurate execution from requisition to purchase order to receipt.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, shortages, and process inefficiencies, proposing proactive corrective actions.
- Provide visibility and reporting through dashboards and KPIs to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate daily with Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Production, and Project Management teams to secure cross-functional synchronization.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and transitions to serial production.
- Promote data integrity, standardization, and continuous improvement within planning and supply processes.
Requirements
- Solid experience in production or material planning, supply chain, or similar manufacturing roles.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or advanced technology industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and the end-to-end procurement process.
- Demonstrated ability to handle large operational data sets, extract insights, and communicate clear priorities.
- Experience managing supplier and subcontractor performance, including delivery follow-up.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data-driven reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment.
