The Student Engagement & Campus Projects Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper development of Student Affairs/Campus projects and events. This individual is expected to provide support to academic project management to achieve project objectives and milestones and promoting the engagement and satisfaction of Schiller students and liaising with Communication, Marketing and Business Development departments. The Madrid Student Engagement & Campus Project Coordinator is expected to work collaboratively with Academic Chairs and Deans, Program Leads, Head of Educational Technology, Faculty, Academic Leadership, and Student Services to facilitate the academic excellence and attractiveness of the Campus.
Tasks And Responsabilities
- Responsible for the execution of Student Affairs/Campus projects, both official (UG and PG Degrees) and non-degree seeking (Continuous Education) in coordination with Program Directors/Leads, Academic Chairs and Student Services.
- Responsible for Student Affairs/Campus Project Planning and timeline.
- Student Affairs/Campus Projects schedule definition and control.
- Student Affairs/Campus Projects progress monitoring and control.
- Proposal of new Student Affairs activities/projects to increase student engagement.
- Coordination of the Graduation Ceremony.
- Coordination & monitoring of Student Council.
- Risk management of the Student Affairs/Campus Projects
- Support to financial control of the Campus/Student Affairs projects.
- Actively work with the Communication Department to promote the visibility of the Campus/Student Affairs Projects
- Support in promoting student´s engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensuring fluid communication among partners, companies, and other institutions involved in the Campus/Student Affairs Projects and academic leadership.
- Support to admissions and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Program Directors, Deans, Faculty and Student Services on student engagement and satisfaction.
- Coordinating the campus events collaborating with partners and Academic Planning
- Engage actively in innovation within the area(s) of knowledge, actively searching for business and growth opportunities.
- Coordinating extracurricular activities and engagement events, including graduation ceremonies in collaboration with Student Services.
- Any other duties assigned by the Student Experience Manager, Campus Director, or Provost.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in project management and international students.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and common Internet search engines.
- Experience study abroad and/or international education programs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills and the ability to analyze and utilize data to make decisions.
- Ability to demonstrate adaptability to changes in the work environment.
- Awareness and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and their impact on international students.
- Fluent English and Spanish
