We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paid Media Intern to support our media and advertising team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about advertising campaigns, media planning, and project coordination. You will assist in the creation and execution of advertising campaigns, ensuring that all assets and production plans are managed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Advertising Campaign Creation: Assist in the development and execution of paid media campaigns across digital platforms. Collaborate with the brand team to understand advertising objectives and align deliverables.
- Production Plan Management: Organize and maintain detailed production plans, ensuring all timelines and deliverables are up to date. Track key milestones and deadlines, flagging any issues to the brand team for resolution.
- Asset and Copy Review: Review and check advertising assets (e.g., images, videos, copies) for accuracy, ensuring alignment with guidelines. Ensure copy complies with character limits and platform-specific requirements. Identify errors in mockups and flag issues for correction.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong communication with internal teams (brand, creative, and media) to facilitate smooth campaign execution. Ensure prompt follow-ups and clear documentation of feedback.
- Project Management and Organization: Coordinate the collection, review, and approval of advertising materials. Ensure all production plans and assets are properly documented and easily accessible.
- Media Insights and Reporting: Assist in preparing campaign performance reports using Excel and PowerPoint. Share advertising examples and best practices to improve creative outputs.
- Platform Understanding:Gain a working knowledge of media platforms (e.g., YouTube) to understand advertising formats and best practices. Support the team by checking and organizing platform-specific assets.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Good understanding of media and advertising principles (prior experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and flag issues, collaborating with internal teams to find solutions.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Hands-on experience in paid media and advertising.
