What we look for?

We are looking for a Dataiku ETL Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects for one of our clients.

It is necessary to visit the client´s offices in Madrid 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain existing Dataiku ELT flows that supply data to AML and Trade Surveillance systems
- Contribute to the adaptation and redesign of Dataiku flows as part of the upcoming core-banking system replacement project
- Monitor, optimize, and fine-tune Dataiku flow performance to ensure reliable and efficient daily operations
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Dataiku workflows, automation, data pipelines, and integrations
- Configure, maintain, and improve system monitoring and ing tools to enable proactive detection and resolution of operational issues
- Maintain clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation covering system configurations, workflows, and operational procedures
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and compliance teams to support AML and Trade Surveillance enhancements, regulatory changes, and new project deliveries
- Ensure alignment with internal IT governance, security policies, and industry standards throughout all development and operational activities
- Dataiku certifications (Core, Advanced, Administrator, etc.) are an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team of developers and analysts
- Clear and effective communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment

Mandatory requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dataiku (DSS), including development, flow design, automation, and troubleshooting
- Strong Python and SQL expertise, including experience building complex transformations and automation scripts
- Solid Unix/Linux system administration skills, including shell scripting and troubleshooting.
- Experience with database technologies, especially Trino and Oracle, including query performance tuning
- Good understanding of networking, data security, and application performance optimization in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of financial industry processes, including transactions, bookings, trades, market data, and securities lifecycle
- Experience working with AML, Compliance, or Trade Surveillance systems is an advantage
- Dataiku certifications (Core, Advanced, Administrator, etc.) are an advantage.
