Each month, over 400,000 people use our platform to discover and book the perfect venues for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, and more. Our business in Spain is growing fast, and we’re looking for a Social Media Intern to help us launch and grow Venuu’s Instagram presence in Spain. You’ll work closely with the company’s COO to create content, build brand awareness, and engage a Spanish-speaking audience.

This is a super exciting, hands-on internship where your ideas, energy, and execution matter. At Venuu you won’t be on the sidelines printing papers – instead, you’ll have real responsibilities that directly contribute to Venuu’s success. But don’t worry – you’ll also have plenty of guidance, mentorship, and support from more experienced colleagues. It’s a team sport, after all!

Since this is an internship, no previous professional experience is required. We’re looking for creative and idea-rich students who love social media, storytelling, and connecting with audiences – whether that’s through your own Instagram, TikTok, or other creative projects.

Psst! This role requires fluent Spanish (the language you’ll do the content in) and good English (the language you’ll use with colleagues).

• Launch and manage Venuu’s Instagram account in Spain. We have already built a strong user base through other forms of marketing, but this would our first step towards reaching new audiences through social media. 🤳
• Create engaging content showcasing cool venues, sharing tips regarding event organisation and party planning, and grasping the emotions involved with celebrating life’s milestones. 🎊
• Test new approaches to reach and engage with relevant audiences.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize posts and campaigns. 📊
• Collaborate directly with the COO in weekly meetings to review progress and to plan new content. Let’s put our brains together and have some fun brainstorming!
• Support the Spanish team and Venuu’s marketing efforts by being an active member of the team.

• Are a student enrolled at a Spanish university, e.g. doing a degree in marketing, communication, or related fields. Please note that we cannot consider candidates who aren’t enrolled at a university and eligible for an internship.
• Can commit to a 5-6 month internship starting in early 2026. Ideally, the internship is curricular (obligatory part of your degree) so you can truly focus on honing your skills through practical work experience.
• Are passionate about social media and branding – maybe you’ve already grown your own Instagram or TikTok account? If so, we’d love to see your style!
• Are fluent in Spanish and comfortable communicating in English (Catalan is a plus, but not required).
• Are creative, bold, and idea-rich – not afraid to try, experiment, and learn from mistakes.
• Are proactive and independent, taking ownership of your work with mentorship from your team.
• Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and visually.
• Are curious and growth-minded, eager to learn about startups, marketing, and audience-building.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic, motivated team where things move quickly and everyone contributes and celebrates wins together.

• Start Date: January or February 2026, exact date can be agreed.
• Duration: 5-6 months
• Working Hours: Ideally full-time (40h/week). If you have classes on the side, the schedule can be adjusted, but with minimum working hours of 30h/week.
• Compensation: An Internship compensation of 800€/month for full-time hours. For part-time internship, the compensation is adjusted accordingly.
• Location: Barcelona office (with possible hybrid options later)
• Team: Join a talented, friendly team and collaborate with colleagues from several countries.
• Learning: Mentorship and guidance provided throughout the internship. We make sure every intern leaves with practical experience, improved skills, and clear insights into how businesses operate.
