The Senior ML Ops Engineer is responsible for designing and building scalable architectures, workflows, and automation to support the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle. This role bridges the gap between data science and engineering, enabling fast, reliable, and maintainable ML solutions that solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for empowering data science teams.

What To Expect In This Role (Responsibilities)
Architect and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines and infrastructure.

Manage, monitor, and automate the entire ML lifecycle, from experimentation to deployment.

Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to deliver scalable and production-ready solutions.

Evaluate cloud architectures based on cost, performance, and scalability.

Ensure seamless integration of ML systems with other engineering and business platforms.

Promote best practices in ML Ops, automation, and CI/CD for machine learning.

Communicate solutions effectively and provide internal enablement on tools and processes.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Proven experience implementing and deploying machine learning solutions in production.

Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

Experience working with distributed data processing using Spark.

Hands-on experience with tools like Docker, Git, Bash scripting, and FastAPI.

Familiarity with ML tools and platforms such as SageMaker Studio, Airflow, and CloudFormation.

Solid understanding of data architecture, systems integration, and software lifecycle.

Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP).

Nice to Have

Previous experience in the payments or broader financial systems industry.

Experience teaching or enabling teams on ML Ops tools and practices.

Self-driven, curious, and proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn.

Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
