Job Description

Glovo is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Intern to join its global Government Relations (GR) team. Based in our Barcelona headquarters, this role will be instrumental in supporting the policy practice.

Reporting to the Head of International and Policy, you will be responsible for building-up the necessary tools for the policy team to deliver their strategies, and for ensuring smooth coordination of the planning & control cycle. Moreover, you will be involved in specific local projects that need extra support, to make sure results are timely met.

Qualifications

  • Policy Positions Development: support the development of Glovo’s policy positions to support the local teams efforts, in coordination with the Head of Policy and other relevant internal teams, such as Legal, GRC, Operations and other business units.
  • Business Knowledge Development: lead the mapping and development of key Know Your Business (KYB) to ensure the team’s deep understanding of the business and its related policy risks. Ensure the policy risks are properly mapped and communicated to the relevant internal teams.
  • Planning and control: lead the development of planning and control tools, as well as the coordination with the local teams to ensure strategic thinking and timely execution.
  • Ad-hoc local support: get involved in specific local issues to provide timely support when needed, mostly focused on the development of documents for advocacy.
  • Internal tools development: build GR and GA tools for better supporting the local teams efforts, and to streamline operational challenges such as new hire or agencies onboardings.
