The Nanobioengineering Group at IBEC is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to contribute to the "Bioengineering for personalized pediatric oncology" research line.

This position will be part of the project Developing Advanced Bioprinted Models for Studying Metastatic Osteosarcoma Drug Responses (OSTEOPRINT), funded under the BIST Ignite Programme, 7th Edition Call.

The project is led by Dr. Aránzazu Villasante at IBEC and Dr. Ángel Nebreda at IRB

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

BioprintingBioinks fabrication: Fabricate and validate bioinksExperiment support: Assist researchers with experiments such as microscopy, and cell culture.Data management: Organize and prepare experimental results for the Principal Investigator.Project coordination: Manage project-related emails and communications.

Essential

Requirements for candidates:

Experience in Bioprinting and biomaterials fabricationExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesStrong time-management skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with a high level of English

Advantageous

Experience in LCD based 3D-printersExperience in COMSOL simulationExperience in molecular biologyExpertise in confocal microscopy and imaging.Experience in cell culture
