At Shakers, we’re building the future of work by connecting companies with top freelance talent through AI-powered solutions. To support our growth, we’re expanding the marketing team and looking for a Marketing Intern to focus primarily on inbound marketing activities.

As a Marketing Intern, you will collaborate closely with the team and progressively take ownership of key areas such as social media management, web content review and publishing, and event coordination. You’ll report to the Marketing Manager and play an essential role in supporting the team across various projects and tasks.

This is a dynamic position with a wide variety of responsibilities and significant room for growth and autonomy, especially for someone who brings curiosity, commitment, and a strong willingness to learn.🤩

Shakers Context

At Shakers, Marketing is a cross-functional and collaborative team at the heart of our company’s growth. We’re a hybrid team of 7 full-timers, supported by a network of part-time freelancers who contribute across different channels.

As a B2B marketplace, we speak to two key audiences: our demand side (clients) and our supply side (freelance talent). While our strategy touches both, our primary focus is on demand generation, helping us attract and convert companies looking to build digital projects with top freelance talent.

We’re currently in a scale-up phase, expanding into new European markets, which makes this an exciting time to join a fast-moving team with big ambitions and lots of opportunities to make an impact.

• What you´ll be doing
  
  

Your day-to-day as a marketing intern at Shakers

• Social Media Management
• Plan and manage our content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X. You will develop a bilingual content strategy customized per channel based on the audience and desired positioning in each.
• Draft content proposals and collaborate on post creation
• Schedule posts and monitor performance metrics
• Build and maintain dashboards for performance tracking
• Support Shakers’ employees on the Influshakers program. You will be closely collaborating with the Shakers team on their social selling strategy that incentivizes employees to post quality content on LinkedIn.
• Web Content & SEO Support
• Upload and publish blog content and landing pages via Hubspot.
• Review and adapt web content when localizing into new languages.
• Ensure consistent formatting and optimize content for SEO
• Event Coordination & Promotion
• Support event logistics (venue coordination, guest lists, merchandising, promo materials, communication emails, etc.)
• Assist with on-site documentation, presentation decks and post-event follow-up
• Collaborate on community engagement strategies before and after events in close coordination with the content team.

You´re a great fit if you have...

• Master’s degree student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or related field.
• Previous internship or experience in marketing or content creation and social media (agency/startup experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (a must)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and web CMS tools (bonus for Hubspot experience).
• Analytical mindset and comfortable working with data and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Notion, Google Data Studio).
• Design skills (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe tools, Google slides) are a plus.

Compensation 💰

The salary for this intern position is 600€ monthly.
