VP of Membership - Volunteer Position

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and strategic VP of Membership to lead our member engagement and growth initiatives. This volunteer leadership position is perfect for someone passionate about community building and organizational development who wants to make a meaningful impact in Barcelona's NGO sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Membership Growth & Acquisition

• Develop and execute comprehensive membership recruitment strategies to expand our community
• Identify target demographics and create outreach campaigns to attract new members
• Represent the organization at networking events, community gatherings, and partnership meetings
• Build relationships with potential members through digital and in-person engagement

Data Analysis & Strategic Planning

• Track and analyze membership metrics, growth trends, and engagement patterns
• Prepare regular reports on membership statistics and recommend strategic improvements
• Maintain accurate member databases and ensure data privacy compliance
• Conduct member surveys and analyze results to inform organizational decisions

Member Support & Care

• Serve as primary point of contact for member inquiries and concerns
• Develop member support resources and communication materials
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure members receive value from their participation
• Facilitate member-to-member connections and community building

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Spanish, Catalan, and/or English
• Experience in community management, customer relations, or membership organizations
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and create actionable insights
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Passion for the NGO's mission and commitment to volunteer service
• Familiarity with Barcelona's local community and cultural landscape

Time Commitment: Approximately 3-6 hours per week, with flexibility for events and peak periods
