To help fuel that growth, we need an Underwriting & Product Lead to join our Pricing & Underwriting team.

This team is the strategic engine behind Prima’s growth.

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our business strategy and driving innovation. By combining advanced analytics and machine learning, you’ll help keep our pricing competitive and our risk under control. You’ll work at the intersection of data science and real-world impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action.

🎯 Your Mission: Bridge data, risk, and innovation — driving underwriting excellence and strong antifraud solutions that protect our business while delighting customers.

What You'll Do

• Own Underwriting Excellence –Optimize underwriting processes and risk selection criteria using data-driven insights, while refining portfolio strategies with Data Scientists.
• Unlock Data Innovation – Identify and integrate external data sources, negotiate strategic partnerships, and quantify their impact with the support of Data scientists to boost underwriting sophistication.
• Shape Winning Insurance Products – Design competitive coverages that balance risk, customer needs, and profitability—aligned with carriers and regulations.
• Outsmart Fraud – Develop antifraud tools and processes with Claims and Engineering, staying ahead of threats through constant cross-functional collaboration.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Insurance expertise – Proven experience in insurance (motor insurance is a must, ideally with an understanding of underwriting, risk, and antifraud strategies.
• Problem-Solver with Hybrid Expertise – Experience in motor insurance and consulting, or business transformation (e.g., process optimization).
• Project Leadership – Proven track record in managing cross-functional initiatives.
• Self-starter attitude – You take ownership, thrive in ambiguity, and make things happen—no hand-holding needed.
• Analytical powerhouse – Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset to turn insights into action.
• Entrepreneurial spirit – You love fast-paced environments, experimenting with new ideas, and collaborating across teams to drive impact.
• Fluent English – Clear communication is key in our global team.
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to underwriting/antifraud processes.
• Experience with data tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAS) and coding (SQL, Python).
• Experience working with Product/Tech teams or in startups.
